Last week, Katie and I had the absolute honour of sponsoring an award at the EVAs — and we never expected it to impact us the way it did.

The winner of the Health & Wellbeing Award was the founder of Hope’s Therapy Dogs — a charity born from the most unimaginable grief, and the most powerful promise. Her daughter, who had been unwell, asked her to set up this charity to help other children like her. And even though she later passed away, her legacy now lives on through every therapy dog, every child supported, and every family comforted.

When we handed over the award, there were no words.
Just a hug, and Katie sobbing beside me (we were both completely gone).
Because in that moment, we weren’t just businesswomen…
We were mothers. Humans. Women seeing another woman rise.

✨ This is why we do what we do.
To champion others.
To celebrate the strength it takes to build something from pain.
And to remind ourselves that whether you’re running a multi-million-pound business or just starting out with an idea — we all start somewhere.

Let’s keep cheering each other on.
Let’s rise by lifting others.
