Before & After ✨👣
This patient was referred by their practice nurse due to significant hard callus and corns on pressure points, something we commonly see in both pre-diabetic and diabetic patients.
When you have diabetes or are at risk of developing it, foot care is essential. High blood sugar can reduce circulation and nerve function in the feet, making it harder to feel injuries or pressure. That means something as simple as a corn or callus can quickly develop into a more serious wound or ulcer if left untreated.
At the first appointment, we carefully debrided the thickened skin and relieved the pressure—improving comfort and most importantly, reducing the risk of complications.
Why regular foot checks matter:
• Early detection of pressure points
• Prevention of ulcer formation
• Better mobility and comfort
• Peace of mind knowing your feet are in safehands
If you’re diabetic or pre-diabetic, don’t wait for problems to appear 👣
