Before & After ✨👣

This patient was referred by their practice nurse due to significant hard callus and corns on pressure points, something we commonly see in both pre-diabetic and diabetic patients.

When you have diabetes or are at risk of developing it, foot care is essential. High blood sugar can reduce circulation and nerve function in the feet, making it harder to feel injuries or pressure. That means something as simple as a corn or callus can quickly develop into a more serious wound or ulcer if left untreated.

At the first appointment, we carefully debrided the thickened skin and relieved the pressure—improving comfort and most importantly, reducing the risk of complications.

Why regular foot checks matter:
• Early detection of pressure points
• Prevention of ulcer formation
• Better mobility and comfort
• Peace of mind knowing your feet are in safehands

If you’re diabetic or pre-diabetic, don’t wait for problems to appear 👣

Before and After Corns & Callus 👣✨

This lovely patient came to myself with multiple concerns: long-standing discomfort from arthritis, structural foot changes, psoriasis, and painful calluses layered over corns. The combination of skin sensitivity and biomechanical stress made every step a challenge.

With a tailored approach, I gently reduced the corns and calluses, addressed the pressure points contributing to buildup, and factored in their psoriasis to ensure the skin was treated with extra care.

The result? Immediate relief, healthier skin, and a more comfortable walk.

Psoriasis, arthritis, and structural foot issues don’t have to mean living in pain—there are options, and Im here to help.

This patient had their first visit this week for fungal nail treatment and regular nail trim! Fungal nail infections (onychomycosis) occur when dermatophyte fungi invade the nail, causing discoloration, thickening, and brittleness. Treatment can be challenging and requires consistency—regular professional care alongside daily antifungal treatment at home is key. Over the next few visits, we expect to see improvement as the new, healthy nail grows through. Patience is essential, but with the right approach, healthier nails are achievable!

👣✨ Before and After one visit transformation! This client had a nail trim and callus reduction using a scalpel, leaving their feet feeling smoother and more comfortable. Excess callus build-up can cause pain, cracks, and even lead to infections if left untreated. Regular foot care, including professional treatment and daily use of a good heel balm, helps maintain soft, healthy skin and prevents future problems. Message me to enquire or book an appointment

Verruca treatment plan

This patient is currently undergoing treatment for a verruca using Verrutop, a highly effective topical solution designed to break down infected tissue and stimulate the body’s natural healing process. Verrucas, caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), commonly appear on the soles of the feet and can become painful when walking or standing.

In addition to verruca treatment, the patient has also been treated for a callus and a corn, both of which can cause discomfort and pressure-related pain. These were carefully reduced to relieve symptoms and improve foot comfort.

Why Verrutop?
• More effective than over-the-counter treatments, as it works by desiccating (drying out) the verruca, allowing the body to naturally eliminate the infected tissue.
• Suitable for patients aged 6 and over, making it a great option for both children and adults.
• Requires fewer applications, with treatment every two weeks for a total of four sessions, ensuring a quicker resolution compared to traditional home treatments.

Regular appointments are essential for the best results. If you have any questions or need advice, please get in touch.
