đž A small moment with my dog reminded me of something important about boundaries.
After a long and intense working day, I wanted comfort.
Jenny, however, was tired and clearly past her tolerance for fuss.
Instead of overriding that signal, I chose to respect it.
That simple moment reflected something bigger.
Learning to respect Jennyâs boundaries has helped me learn how to respect my own.
⢠Needs donât require justification.
⢠Boundaries donât need long explanations.
⢠Self-advocacy isnât selfish â itâs essential.
Since my ADHD/AuDHD diagnosis, one of the most important (and challenging) parts of the journey has been reconnecting with who I am beneath years of masking, expectations, and âshouldsâ.
That process can feel confusing, destabilising, and sometimes lonely.
But it can also be deeply transformative â especially when you donât have to do it alone.
This is the heart of what I offer through The Neuro Kind Hub:
⨠A safe space
⨠Respect for how your brain works
⨠Advocacy for your brain
Because support and coaching should not be a privilege.
If youâre looking for a supportive place to explore your ADHD/AuDHD â or if you are a professional looking for neuro-affirmative supervision â Iâd love to support you.
