A late ADHD or AuDHD diagnosis can shift the way we see ourselves, our past, and the world around us.
For many people, it can feel like a rollercoaster of emotions — relief, grief, confusion, validation, anger, hope… sometimes all at once.

You do not have to navigate it alone.

At The Neuro Kind Hub, we are creating a safe, neuroaffirming space where you can meet like-minded people, unmask, feel understood, and simply be yourself without the pressure to “fit in.”

✨ Peer support
✨ Community meet ups
✨ Workshops & shared learning
✨ A space built with compassion and lived experience

And if you would like more personalised support, ADHD/AuDHD coaching is also available through The Neuro Kind Coach

Take something as simple as doing the dishes.

For some neurodivergent people, this can involve:
🔹 Physical discomfort from water temperature
🔹 Distress from food textures
🔹 Pain from sound sensitivity
🔹 Overload from lighting

Yet many are told:
“You just need to push through.”
“Everyone finds this unpleasant.”
“You’re not trying hard enough.”

Over time, this can lead to:
🔹 Self-blame
🔹 Shame
🔹 Negative self-talk
🔹 Feeling like you’re failing

— when in reality, the nervous system is responding to genuine sensory input.

And when sensory needs are actually supported, everything can shift.

For example:
✔️ Adjusting lighting
✔️ Reducing noise
✔️ Using gloves to manage texture and temperature
✔️ Preparing tasks to reduce effort
✔️ Reducing frequency where possible

Suddenly, the task becomes manageable.

Not necessarily enjoyable.
Not always easy.
But no longer painful.

That’s a completely different starting point.

Because the more helpful question isn’t always:
“Why are you avoiding this?”

Sometimes it’s:
“What is your nervous system experiencing right now?”

And this is what we do at The Neuro Kind Hub, we encourage community and peer support, we provide affordable access to 1:1 coaching and Workshops .
Because support for the people that want to know how to use their brain should not be a privilege

Late diagnosis doesn’t just give you answers.
It can trigger an identity crisis.

Because when ADHD or AuDHD finally makes sense…

You start questioning everything:

Who you are
What’s actually “you”
And what was survival

This part is real.
And it’s often unsupported.

You’re not going backwards.
You’re rebuilding with the right understanding.

That’s where community and support is important and coaching can change your life.

Join our community - connect with peers - access to affordable support

Late diagnosis question:

What changed the most for you?

* How you see your past?
* How you see yourself now?
* Or what you need going forward?

For many people, it’s not just clarity…

It’s a full identity shift.

And that can feel a lot.

Hi, I’m V — founder of The Neuro Kind Hub.

I’m a late-diagnosed AuDHD adult, and for most of my life I found myself stuck in cycles of pushing, burning out, and starting again… without really understanding why.

Getting diagnosed gave me something I’d been missing — understanding of how my brain actually works.
And it also made me realise how little genuine, neuroaffirming support exists for adults.

So I became a certified ADHD/advanced AuDHD coach and Neuroaffirmative Supervisor, and created The Neuro Kind Hub.

A space for:
• Safe, supportive community
• Peer connection
• Affordable coaching (1:1 and group)
• Neuroaffirmative training & supervision

This isn’t about fixing yourself — it’s about understanding your brain and working with it.

If you’re looking for a space where you don’t have to mask or where you do not have to do it all alone, join us, follow our page or reach out directly.

Three years apart — what a difference safety and support can make.

This is Jenny. She came into my life 3 years ago. She was a stray with burns, injured and very afraid of the world and men.

Fast forward three years… and this is Jenny today.

What has this to do with the Neuro Kind Hub? Everything!

Sometimes transformation doesn’t come from pushing harder.
It comes from feeling safe enough to be yourself.

When Jenny finally had safety, patience and support, she started to become the dog she was always meant to be. She did not need to be “fixed”, she needed to have the space and acceptance to be herself.

I see a similar pattern with many late-diagnosed ADHD and AuDHD adults.

For years they have been told to try harder, mask more, or fit systems that were never designed for their brains. After a while, it’s easy to start believing that something is wrong with you.

But often the problem isn’t you.
It’s the environment and the support around you.

When the right support is in place, things can change surprisingly quickly.

Hi, I’m V — founder of NeuroKind Hub.
I support late-diagnosed and newly referred ADHD/AuDHD adults to understand how their brain works and build a life that works with it, not against it.

Because the goal isn’t to “fix” who you are.
It’s to create the conditions where you can thrive.

If you’re looking for a safe, supportive space to explore your neurodiversity, you can book an introductory call in the comments.

And next time you feel stuck or unsure, remember Jenny and join our Facebook groups and in person Meet ups.

Sometimes what we need most isn’t more effort.
We need the right environment.

Reasonable adjustments are often misunderstood as “special treatment”…

But they are not about giving someone an advantage.
They are about removing barriers so everyone has a fair chance to thrive.

For neurodivergent individuals, this might look like:
• Flexible working hours
• Clear communication instead of ambiguity
• Reduced sensory overwhelm
• Structured support for executive functioning

When workplaces move away from a “one size fits all” approach, something powerful happens:
✨ People don’t just cope — they perform, contribute, and feel safe being themselves.

At The Neuro Kind Hub, we believe neuro-inclusion starts with understanding.

💬 What is one adjustment that has made a real difference for you?
