As part of Healing Arts Scotland 2026, a nationwide programme celebrating the role of arts, culture and heritage in supporting physical, mental and social health - we’re so proud to be bringing this very special event to D&G!

You are warmly invited to attend our conference, featuring panel discussions, Q&As, keynote speakers, spotlight speakers and creative wellbeing activities connected to the three themes of Healing Arts Scotland 2026.

Everyone is welcome to join us for a day of inspiration, connection and creativity, exploring how the arts can support health and wellbeing for individuals and communities across Dumfries & Galloway.

Clouds

For thousands of years we have stared up at the sky and watched them pass overhead. Always associated with the water they bring but for some they were the entrance to Heaven or the Gods - even the cloth upon the backs of Gods.

When was the last time you sat and watched the clouds and looked for shapes?

What shapes and stories can you find in these?

I've seen horses charging through the white whipped land and a crab scuttling along.

Spending morning in our happy place.

Listening to the stories the trees have to tell us. Exploring the outdoors and imagination with my wee man. We spotted a giant footstep filled with water and whispered passwords to a gateway made of stone.

Play and imagination so important for children. Memories so precious for us ♥️

And one year it fell out that Tumnus... brought them news that the White Stag had once more appeared in his parts — the White Stag who would give you wishes if you caught him

Taking time out this week to make memories with my family. Couldn't resist sharing this photo. All my life I've dreamt of seeing a white stag and this is the first time!

Couldn't catch him but I got my wish 😁 and maybe one day I'll find my way to Narnia 😍

Trying the 'I'm not even sorry ' trend.

This is all about the name I work under and how it has changed over the last 12 months and the anxiety I have around that now as it will likely change again before the end of the year.
It doesn't mean I don't care about what I'm doing, or that I don't understand my brand and who I'm looking to support, but I'm trying to let things grow and evolve. If anything I care sooo much that I'm thinking so much about names because I want to build something bigger.

What do you think? Am I right to be worried? Or should I be

Oracle cards don't need to be about spirits or predicting the future. I get that isn't for everyone.

What they are great for
⭐ As stimuli for creative work
⭐ Providing ideas of how to look at situations from different perspectives
⭐ Suggesting small actions we can take

This card has been pulled a lot this week and I've just pulled it myself.

Listening. Really listening. To yourself and what your body is telling you (that's mine) but also what others are telling you. Listen beyond hearing. Listen by noticing tyone and volume of a person's voice, their body language, and facial expressions. Sometimes that which isn't spoken is saying the most.
