This afternoon we had the pleasure of welcoming our good friends from Fife: Forthview Parish Church - Dalgety for a lovely in-house service.
It was a truly special time, filled with warmth, reflection, and a wonderful sense of community. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed coming together, sharing in the service, and spending time with such familiar and friendly faces.
Following the service, the ladies from the church kindly stayed and joined us for our much-loved Memory Café, which made the afternoon even more special. It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to chat, connect, and enjoy each other’s company.
We are always so grateful for their continued support and kindness 💛

This afternoon we enjoyed a wonderful scenic drive up towards Loch Leven, and what a lovely outing it turned out to be! With some of our favourite tunes playing, it wasn’t long before the car was filled with a cheerful sing-along, plenty of laughter, and lots of smiling faces.
The residents thoroughly enjoyed getting out and about, taking in the beautiful views and fresh air, which always does the world of good. It was a fantastic opportunity to reminisce, share stories, and simply enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed and uplifting setting.
Outings like these are so important, and today was a perfect reminder of just how much joy a simple drive, good music, and great company can bring. 💙

🌟 Active Monday at the Home! 🌟

Our residents kicked off the week in the best way with some gentle chair exercises to get the bodies moving and the spirits lifted. There were plenty of smiles, stretches, and a few giggles along the way as we all eased into Monday together.

Afterwards, we settled down with a well‑earned cuppa and a good chat, catching up on weekend stories and sharing a few laughs. A simple start to the week, but such a lovely one. 💛

Our home has been full of smiles, laughter, and a little extra sweetness today as our lovely residents received their Easter eggs 🐣🍫

It’s been a joy to see so many happy faces and shared moments, with everyone enjoying their treats and each other’s company. Days like these remind us just how special it is to celebrate together🐰🩵

A blessed Easter morning 🐣
There was a wonderful atmosphere this morning in the cinema room, watching our friends doing their Sunday live stream at Fife: Forthview Parish Church - Dalgety. It was a beautiful service, and being able to join our local community in prayer and song from the comfort of our home made the morning truly special for our residents

This afternoon, we got moving with a lively armchair exercise session! 💪
There was plenty of energy, smiles, and laughter as our residents joined in, keeping active in a fun and engaging way. It was wonderful to see everyone taking part and enjoying themselves — a fantastic time was had by all!

This Morning our residents gathered for another heart‑warming choir session, led wonderfully by our very own resident, Vic. He chose the songs and shaped the whole feel of the session, bringing everyone together through music and memories.🎶

Voices filled the room with favourites like Flower of Scotland and The Skye Boat Song, and you could feel the pride and connection in every note. It was one of those moments where the whole home felt like one big family.🎤🎼

After all that singing, we enjoyed a well‑earned cuppa and a slice of cake — the perfect cosy finish to a lovely Morning.☕️🧁

Today we Had our Favourite place the Sunshine group at Fife: Forthview Parish Church - Dalgety ☀️

What a lovely day out we’ve had on the bus today! 🌤️

We started our morning with a trip to our favourite spot Silver Sands Café for good food, fresh air and plenty of smiles. Then this afternoon we headed to Dobbies for a cosy cuppa and a slice of cake to round things off beautifully.

A day full of laughter, treats and great company — just how we like it. 💛

We’ve had the most wonderful day here at Dalgety Bag Care Home 🩵
Our morning started with some delicious hard work as we rolled up our sleeves for a chocolate chip cookie baking session. The cafe smelled absolutely heavenly😋
Once we’d had our sweet fix, we headed outside this afternoon for our gardening group. We spent the afternoon digging in the dirt, planting bright new flowers, and sowing seeds for the season ahead 🌼
Now, we’re keeping our fingers (and green thumbs!) crossed for some sunshine so we can watch our hard work bloom. 🌷✨
