What a fabulous summer Mia has had. She went to a taster day at Camp Jojo, days out with Jackie. We went to bowness for the day with Rainbows, on a train and boat, She went on her first residential at Bendrigg with YouthAbility, did Canoeing, zip lining, Archery and more, she had the best time. We have been on holiday to ribby hall, Blackpool and fleetwood beach. It's been a fun filled summer, making lots of amazing memories ❤️

Mìa started reception at sandside school on Wednesday 😁 She has settled in well, made new friends and is loving it ❤️ Sandside is an amazing School which will allow Mia to access daily physio and can cater to all her needs. We are over the moon that she got in to the school and we know she will thrive there.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending a taster experience day at the new Camp Jojo site that will be coming to Appleby in Cumbria, in summer 2026. We had a great time. The volunteers were fantastic and we all had a fun day. Camp jojo support families of children with complex needs and disabilities to enjoy a totally accessible camping experience. We are very much looking forward to this being finished and applying for a spot to stay there next summer.

Another great and busy few days for Mìa. She went to physio yesterday and Smashed it 💪 She has gone back to nursery 😁 She had a day out with Jackie on Saturday, Went to the park, Played in the garden with sand and then came to wait for mammy to finish the Coniston to barrow and greeted her at the finish line. She also managed to sit up independently this week ♥️ so proud of her 👏 👏👏

Mìa has been a busy bee over the easter hols, with lots of days out and activities. She has been to the space centre in preston, the sensory snug in dalton to see miss rachel, Lakland maze and farm, to play and feed the animals, Willows cafe in millom for cake and shake, and two days at youth club over at YouthAbility Youth Services doing lots of Easter/Spring activities. She has had a great time 😁
