Care Manager / Deputy Manager

This role is near Dartmouth
Platinum Care Ltd is seeking a dynamic, caring and self motivated individual to become a Care Manager / Deputy Manager at a Residential Care Home for the Elderly with Dementia needs.
You will be passionate about providing the very best, high quality care by creating a safe, supportive and welcoming environment for every one of our valued elderly residents.
To always ensure the Home delivers person centred care and ensuring that this is evidenced in the care plans, rotas, staff and home meetings, induction, training and culture of the home.
You will be responsible for the care needs and care plans of the residents, including assessing the suitability of new residents, reviewing and updating care plans to suit residents changing care needs.
You will liaise with social care and health professionals to ensure that all aspects of the residents needs are provided for
You will also understand the importance of open and honest relationships with resident's families and staff.
To ensure the home complies with the requirements of the Health & Social Care Act 2008
You will also support the Registered Manager in all aspects of running the care home including assessing new admissions, recruitment, management of staff, provision of person centred care, regular audits.
This position is part supernumerary, you will be required to work some shifts on the floor and will involve weekend work and be on call.
Salary is dependent on experience and qualification.
The ideal candidate should:
Already be a deputy manager / care manager / team leader at a Care Home.

Have the desire to progress to a senior position in a Care Home[
Working toward or holds Level 5 in Health an Social Care or equivalent
Is up to date with CQC Compliance and regulatory standards
