Yes, we recommend shaving the treatment area at least 24 hours before treatment. This helps the laser target the hair follicle more effectively instead of just singeing superficial hair.

When you come in for your consultation we will complete a patch test. This helps us work out the most effective setting for the laser with your hair and skin type. The patch tests are completed on each treatment area, this is because your hair and skin are not the same everywhere on your body.
