Little Mess has been such a joyful, creative, and rewarding business to run over the last year! It is always full of colour, imagination, happy little faces and of course lots of mess! I have absolutely loved creating the messy trays and meeting you all and seeing all of our little mess makers experience the magic of messy play 🫟

✨ Exciting Opportunity ✨

The time has now come to handover my little business to a new passionate messy play leader! Due to increasing commitments in my teaching job, I am no longer able to give Little Mess the time and energy it truly deserves.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who:

Farmyard Frolics 🐷🚜

Come along to our Farmyard Frolics Messy Play Event, where little hands can dig, scoop, squish, and explore the sights, sounds, and textures of the farm! This event will be packed with animal-themed sensory trays, earthy textures, and hands-on fun that encourages curiosity, imagination, and learning through messy play.

From muddy pigs to fluffy chicks and tractor-tastic trays, your little farmers will be giggling, exploring, and making memories in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Our events are designed for babies and toddlers from 6 months to 5 years however we also welcome older siblings to join in the fun too 🫟

Messy play can appear chaotic however it is a form of ‘creative chaos’ that has so many learning opportunities 🫟
It is highly beneficial for your little one’s development and fosters creativity, problem solving and sensory learning.

🌈Sensory Exploration:
Pouring, squishing, and mixing build sensory awareness and understanding of textures and cause-and-effect.

🧠Cognitive Development:
The lack of rigid rules allows for experimentation, leading to new ways of thinking.

✨Skill Building:
Scooping, cutting, and mixing develop fine motor skills, while general movement boosts gross motor skills.

A Sensory Adventure for little storytellers, and curious explorers! Step into a world inspired by much-loved Julia Donaldson stories at our messy play session in Welton.
Perfect for babies and toddlers aged 6 months to 5 years, this fun, hands-on class brings storytelling to life.

Your little one will be able to:
✨ Explore themed sensory trays inspired by stories like The Gruffalo, Superworm and Tiddler.

✨Enjoy textures, colours, and creative play that spark imagination

✨Build confidence, coordination, and early learning skills through fun, guided play.

Each tuff tray tells a new story from The Gruffalo’s deep dark wood to the undersea adventures of Tiddler! It’s a perfect mix of messy play, sensory learning and early storytelling.

✨Hi everyone✨

Happy New Year to you all and I hope all of our little mess makers enjoyed the Christmas magic!

Sorry for being so quiet however due to personal circumstances I have been unable to begin weekly classes for this term.

I am happy to announce that I have got a couple of exciting messy sessions that will be available to join in the next few weeks. We will be exploring some of our favourite Julia Donaldson stories, celebrating love with Valentines messy play and getting messy on the farm 🫟

I will update you on the dates for these upcoming sessions this week and look forward to seeing you all soon ✨

Such a lovely way to end the term with our Winter themed class this morning as we welcome December 🩵
We explored our oobleck melted snowman, pine cones frozen in ice, moon sand snow and sparkly playdough along with lots of interesting textures including foil, bubble wrap and cotton wool 🫟
