In 2011 I nearly died. I had an ectopic pregnancy that nobody in the medical profession would diagnose.

I knew instinctively that there was something very seriously wrong, but getting the help and support I needed was far from easy.

Today is Ectopic Pregnancy Awareness Day, and as I approach the end of writing two whole chapters of my new book which are devoted solely to pregnancy loss, and the trauma and emotional impact of fertility issues on us, I thought I would share this blog post with you.

I will be sharing the two chapters on the trauma and grief of fertility issues and pregnancy loss with you for free very soon, because it’s something that is rarely spoken about. FUNDRAISING NEWS!! 🚨

As many of you know I am currently trying to raise some money to help me to finish the book I am writing and to get it self published.

The book is packed full of EVERYTHING I’ve learned about reflexology and fertility over 10 years of fertility struggles and 12 years of working as a reflexologist and reproductive reflexologist, and I really believe that it could help thousands of couples on the own journey. So I have decided to offer a mini retreat with my amazing best friend.

Join me and expert meditation and breathwork teacher, Louise Burgess, for a blissful mini retreat in the heart of the Goodnestone’s beautiful countryside. You’ll learn to blend your own bespoke reflexology wax to take home, and experience the soothing power of guided breathwork and meditation with Louise.

We’ll close the day with tea and cake in the charming Old Dairy Café at Goodnestone Park Gardens — the perfect end to a day dedicated to you. All profits will go towards publishing my book to support couples on their fertility journey.

The trauma and grief of fertility issues and all that they entail are real, they are ever present and they can affect us in so many ways.

I was always going to write about this in my new book, but recently I’ve been guided to devote an entire chapter to this really important issue.

If you are currently experiencing fertility struggles, or you have ever experienced pregnancy loss, I hope that this chapter offers you some comfort and support.

I will release the entire chapter as a free ebook as soon as I have finished writing it, because I really want to help as many people as I can. I am already half way through writing the chapter, so it shouldn’t be too long. Some chapters just flow out of me, and this is one of those chapters.

I will keep you posted. And a big thank you to .gauntlett , whose incredible circle helped me to see what I needed to share. 💕
