Some of our friends and regulars know we've been promising this for a loooonnnngggg time! But finally, this weekend at Launceston Farmers' Market we are launching our own-brand 'Garlic Butter Rub'! If you have never tried this rather on-trend seasoning, it's about as versatile as you can get. We love it on Chicken, or chips (or both!) but add it to Pizza, Vegetables, Fish...the list is as long as your imagination! Limited to 100 x 100g tins initially and priced at £4.99 a tin. This will be available on our website too from this weekend.

Scccchhhh. Don’t tell anybody, but we’re just finishing testing our new Autumn products today, due for launch in September. Here, we have our new Chilli Orange Marmalade and our new Spicy Onion Relish made with Tintagel Brewery beer. The relish will probably be called ‘Hellish Relish’, but we need suggestions for the marmalade. Ideas? 🤨🤷🏽‍♂️

Tested alongside the ever fabulous Cornish Cheese Company Brie.

Today we held a cold and hot smoking cookery course…and we had another 2 fantastic guests! We used the Kamado to make Smokey campfire beans and prosciutto wrapped Cornish Camembert topped with our own Rapid Fiyah Chilli Jam, the Asado to make sticky spatchcock chicken, the Pro-Q Ranger to cold smoke more cheese from The Cornish Cheese Company and our own garlics, and the Kamado again to hot smoke a Bumblebee Cottage Shawarma chicken with polytunnel picked fresh vegetables cooked in the juices. No one went hungry today and all washed down with a nice bottle of Rose’!

Big respect to the team at Trelawney Garden Centre today for inviting us along today for a pop-up tasting event. We met some lovely Trelawney customers and some bloomin super staff too. If you missed out today, they’re extending their 10% off Bumblebee Cottage products until end of the month! See? Nice guys 👍🏾

We're doing a 'pop up' taste stall at Trelawney Garden Centre in Wadebridge next Wednesday between 11am - 2pm, so any locals or tourists in the area can come along to 'try before you buy'...There may even be deals to be had on the day too! Find us in their excellent BBQ section as you enter the main store.
