To those who feel loneliest in a crowd.
To those whose storms rage within, even when the sea around them is calm.
To those for whom life is challenging and peace is out of reach.
To those who wonder why each hill seems so steep when others scale them effortlessly.
I feel you.

If you are an over-thinker, an under-enjoyer and a worrier, life can be a struggle.
If you were born facing against the wind and you just don’t know how to be swept along like everyone else.
I feel you.

If you often catch yourself. wondering how, HOW, others seem to breeze through their days – even when times are tough – I feel you.
Switching off an over-active imagination is a skill which is hard won. Learning to ‘go with the flow’ and ‘take each day as it comes’ can seem as unrealistic as learning to fly.
But unlike flying, it is possible.

The first step is to acknowledge that you feel detached and at odds with the world, that your sunny disposition is a tiring act and that your fears engulf you when you least expect it.
Admit it, accept it, embrace it.
It is who you are but it need not define you.

The sensitive heart and the deep soul of you, are wonderful qualities to be proud of but they can also become your downfall.

Go easy on yourself, your load is heavy enough, but with each new day, try to chip away at the fear and the worry bit by bit.
It is there to protect you, not to stop you.
You deserve a calm sea within, every now and again, you have weathered enough storms.

To all for whom life can feel like the highest mountain, remember you are only supposed to climb it, not carry it – and you are supposed to enjoy the view at every step.
It’s really something.

Did you know how Reflexology affects your body?

Relaxation
Opens neural pathways and floods the nervous system with neuron activity which puts the body in a more relaxed state, inducing a state of calm throughout your body and mind.

Blood Circulation
Improved circulation also means more oxygen reaches the vital organ systems, optimizing their functioning and further increasing metabolism. The deliverance of oxygen through the body also results in faster healing and re-growth of damaged cells.

Reducing headaches
Relieving tension in the muscles often relieves patients of stress-induced migraines and headaches.

Boosts energy
Reflexology sessions can improve the functionality of many organs in your body, which would result in higher metabolism, which in turn helps create more energy in your body.

Eliminates toxins
By improving blood circulation, reflexology can improves bladder function. This can result in a more efficient system of eliminating toxins.

Our Story

The Complementary Health industry was definitely not a place I ever thought I would be part of. Office work had always been my career path even though I didn’t particularly enjoy it. I just never thought I had a choice.

That was over ten years ago when I had little or no confidence or self worth. Then through a friend of a friend I came across Reiki and Reflexology. I had always thought they were vaguely interesting but didn’t know a great deal about them. I made an appointment and I think I had a Reflexology treatment first and the following week had Reiki and I was completely amazed at how these treatments made me feel. I felt I had been walking around in a fog for so long, but after these sessions the fog lifted. I continued to have regular treatments and continued to feel the benefit and eventually decided that I wanted to learn more.

My Reiki journey began in 2008 with Reiki 1, Reiki 2 in 2009 and I became a Reiki Master/Teacher in 2010. Last year I offered Reiki 1 training for the first time and I am looking forward to offering more workshops before the end of this year.

I went to Stockport College to study Reflexology in 2009 and qualified with a Level 3 VTC qualifications in Reflexology, Anatomy and Physiology and Health and Safety in 2010. I have also taken a specialised course, Enhancing Fertility and Maternity care with Reflexology.
