After yesterdays big steps day, today we prove it’s more about nutrition and sleep, than exercise. Here we simply wondered down to the local market, enjoyed a freshly squeezed lemon 🍋 ginger 🫚 and cane juice 🥤 followed by entering the local luxury Hammam spa 🧖♀️ for a 2 hour treatment, where they assumed H was my wife 😂 The package included a Moroccan 🇲🇦 tea and 2 locally made biscuits 🍪 so we enjoyed those as part of the experience. Firstly we had the “Hammam” which is basically a bed bath and body scrub in a sauna, then a one hour full body massage. 💆♂️ after this we were in full chill out mode so went back home for a nap. After a few hours kip we watched a fab comedy film “Balls up” 😂 - with an intermission of the gas man popping into to fix the hot water and Helen enjoyed brushing up on her French 🇫🇷 to tell him no she didn’t want to marry him thanks 😂🤦♂️ then another early night for us. I know maybe I make it sound and look easy in these posts, but losing-a-lb-a-day in reality, even here in the sunshine really is not. It is so hard to say no to meals and snacks when you see foods that are so fresh and cheap! The secret is to keep your self busy with non food and drink past times like massage, spas, beach walks, sleep, movies, non food shopping, and maybe a small healthy drink in a luxurious place that really does feel like a treat, like your local 5 star hotel by a beach or river. Well done Helen for getting through 2 days, only side affects so far is a headache on day 1 (normal detox side affects) and a bit of disruptive sleep thanks to my noisy neighbours and boy friend 🤦♂️ and not forgetting the mental food cravings, which is of course normal when ever you are trying to lose weight! We can get through this 💪
