During the growth of the company the emphasis has been to provide a high level of customer service without compromise. The expansion of the company has been controlled to ensure the directors are involved in the day-to-day running of the business. The three aims of the company remain:
Perform Within Programme, Safely - On-site adherence to client programme/requirements is maintained by a 300 strong, 100% relevant CSCS carded labour force acting inside of a strict internal Health and Safety Policy. Provide High Quality Worksmanship - From specialist brickwork to feature stonework to imported blockwork systems, our on-site performance is guaranteed through the employment of skilled, trade qualified and closely appraised workforce with hundreds of years experience reinforced by our dedication to continual training. Ensure Client Financial Satisfaction - Our pro-active approach pre-contract allows both parties to realise financial implications/savings aiding the commercial teams forecasts throughout the duration of the works and laying footings for a trouble free final account. We take great pride in all aspects of delivering our projects inline with the three objectives and this ethos is instilled in all employees and supply chain members who make up the Phoenix Brickwork (UK) Ltd team.

Phoenix Brickwork and BMH Scaffolding are proud to have donated toys to the Christmas Gift Appeal at our Sweet Street project in Leeds, supporting children and families who may otherwise go without this festive season.

We received a wonderful message from Mark Ball, Senior Site Manager at Winvic Construction Ltd:

“On behalf of everybody at Winvic, Sweet Street, we would just like to say a massive thank you to you all for your kind donations of Christmas gifts for children who wouldn’t necessarily have any gifts. Where most of us take for granted that we can afford to buy presents, there are children who may not get anything, therefore your donations will make a huge difference."

A huge well done to everyone who donated — your generosity will mean so much to the children receiving these gifts.

Yesterday, both of our offices got into the festive spirit as we celebrated Christmas Jumper Day! 🎄

The team took part in Secret Santa, enjoyed a round of bingo, and shared plenty of laughs along the way. It was a great way to come together and kick off the Christmas countdown.

Phoenix joined BAM UK & Ireland and Kirklees Council working with EPIKS at Huddersfield Riverside Nature Park for a highly productive day of volunteering!

The day consisted of keeping the track on Kilner Bank open and accessible for fire crews from West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue and maintaining the beautiful riverside space around Accu Stadium.

Well done all.

Phoenix Brickwork attended Heanor Gate Spencer Academy along with Construction Services Mansfield to support Bowmer Kirkland in delivering a construction industry focused presentation to year 11, 12 & 13 students for their career’s immersion day.

The careers immersion day was a fantastic opportunity to discuss all pathways and opportunities within the construction industry to young student’s.

Jamie Duerden said:

"Apprentices are crucial for the construction industry, as they bridge the widening skills gap by providing a pipeline of new talent, ensuring experienced knowledge is passed on, and bringing fresh perspectives, while also offering businesses a cost-effective way to train loyal, skilled workers tailored to specific needs, boosting productivity and long-term growth. They offer an earn-while-you-learn path, creating a dedicated workforce and bringing diversity, securing the industry's future."

We had a great time celebrating Children in Need last week across the Phoenix offices!

The team got involved by coming to work in pyjamas, bringing in plenty of sweet and savoury treats, and taking part in a fun charity quiz.

Together, we managed to raise £55 for an incredible cause.

A big thank you to everyone who joined in and donated — every contribution makes a difference.
