Provide High Quality Worksmanship - From specialist brickwork to feature stonework to imported blockwork systems, our on-site performance is guaranteed through the employment of skilled, trade qualified and closely appraised workforce with hundreds of years experience reinforced by our dedication to continual training. Ensure Client Financial Satisfaction - Our pro-active approach pre-contract allows both parties to realise financial implications/savings aiding the commercial teams forecasts throughout the duration of the works and laying footings for a trouble free final account. Phoenix Brickwork and BMH Scaffolding are proud to support Winvic Construction Ltd Construction on our Sweet Street project by donating 20 Easter eggs as part of their community giving initiative.

The eggs will be delivered by Winvic through their Easter egg collection to Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm, helping ensure children across Leeds receive a little extra joy this Easter.

Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm is dedicated to brightening young lives, working with some of the most disadvantaged children in Leeds. The charity provides vital respite from difficult home environments, offering breaks filled with adventure, fun and learning in a safe and happy setting.

During the Easter school holidays, the charity will be hosting residential breaks and hopes to provide an Easter egg for every child attending.

We’re proud to play a small part in supporting such an important cause and helping make Easter a little brighter.

Employee Appreciation Day 2026!

Today, we celebrate the people behind everything we build.

Across Phoenix Group, our strength lies in our people — on site, in the yard, in the office, and across every division of the business.

From bricklayers, dryliners, labourers, fixers, scaffolders and apprentices to supervisors, drivers, health and safety, commercial teams and administrative staff, every individual plays a vital role in delivering our projects safely, professionally and to the highest standard.

Construction demands teamwork, resilience and pride in your work.

Every early start, every deadline met, every safe handover — that’s down to you.

As one group, operating under the same values and vision, we are proud to stand together and recognise the hard work, dedication and commitment shown across the business.

Thank you to everybody within the business for the effort you put in every single day.

This week we’re celebrating Women in Construction Week — a time to recognise and appreciate the incredible contribution of women across our business, from site to office, and across every division. The theme for 2026, “Level Up, Build Strong,” highlights the importance of growth, opportunity and empowering women at every stage of their careers in construction.

Across the UK construction industry, women still represent a minority of the workforce, with around 14–15% of roles held by women and only a small proportion in on-site trades. But the momentum is building. More women are entering the sector, advancing into professional, technical and leadership positions, and challenging the stereotypes that have long defined our industry.

At Phoenix Group, we are proud to work alongside women in a wide range of roles — from health and safety, office, commercial and support teams — each bringing talent, perspective and commitment to what we do every day.

To every woman across Phoenix, we appreciate and thank you for the value you bring to our business and the positive impact you have on our culture and success.

We’d like to thank every apprentice across Phoenix and BMH for the commitment and effort they put in every day. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we’re proud to be part of your journey.

From labourer to approaching his End Point Assessment

Jomel joined us in 2023 as a labourer, keen to learn and get stuck in on site. Since then, he’s taken the step into a Drylining Apprenticeship and is now approaching his EPA.

It’s been fantastic to watch his confidence, knowledge and skills grow day by day. Apprenticeships create real opportunities, and Jomel’s journey is a great example of where hard work and commitment can take you.

Continuing our Apprenticeship Week celebrations, we’re pleased to introduce Ellie Clements, Apprentice Quantity Surveyor.

Ellie has now been with us for a year and is developing her skills while gaining hands-on experience within the commercial side of construction, supporting our teams and learning what it takes to manage projects from a financial and contractual perspective.

We asked Ellie a few questions about her apprenticeship journey, her experience in the industry and what she’s learned so far — take a look through the below photos to read her answers 👇

👷‍♂️ National Apprenticeship Week 👷‍♂️

This week we’re proud to highlight our bricklaying apprentices Kane and Aidan, who are both gaining hands-on experience on our Our Cultural Heart, Huddersfield project.

Aidan joined us in October last year, and Kane has now been with us for almost a year. Since starting their apprenticeships, they’ve become valued members of their gangs and are building strong foundations in the trade.

They’ve been learning a mix of brick and block work, developing key skills such as setting out, laying to a high standard, keeping work areas clean and tidy, and most importantly, taking real pride in their work.

It’s great to see their confidence and skills growing on site — we look forward to supporting their journey as they continue to progress in the industry.
