🌟Feedback Friday!🌟

Another victim awarded justice and supported throughout by our GYB Lead Sophie. Going to court can be a daunting experience for anybody, especially a young person!

Our case workers ensure the young person is looked after, understands the criminal justice process and has special measures put in place on the day of court if needed to make them feel more comfortable.

🌟Feedback Friday!🌟

GYB Lead Sophie and Derbyshire Victim Services Case Worker Tanya were celebrated in a lengthy feedback email to Remedi: Restorative Services the other week.

The family had been victims of a serious incident and before the support was put in place the parent said she felt no one would be able to help, she felt let down and felt her children would not engage, BUT she would give it a try.

2 years later and the family have justice, the parent said they were supported with compassion and respect stating "Thank you once again for your support, care, and commitment to achieving justice."

🌻 THANK YOU 🌻

Sophie was given this lovely gift as a thank you from a service user. The young person has been a victim of assault and struggled to return to school following the incident. Sophie has supported them to feel more confident and resilient and they have made new friendships.

GYB practitioners work closely with schools to safeguard the young people they support and help provide families the chance to be heard.
