It’s so hard navigating a return to work after you’ve lost someone.
Just over a week ago, we lost my precious Nanny.
She wasn’t just my Nanny. She was almost a second mother, a constant, my safe place. My peace in the chaos, and my calm in a storm. One of my biggest supporters, and the person who first introduced me to Angels and spirituality when I was only wee.
Grief is strange, and most definitely comes in waves. One minute you feel grand, the next you’re floored.
Returning to work this week feels both impossible and necessary. I’m moving slowly, giving myself grace, and taking each day as it comes. I am so lucky to do work I love and am passionate about, especially under these circumstances; it makes it a little easier.
I will respond to you all, I see your messages and enquiries, and I’m getting there. Thank you for your patience 🤍
To anyone else navigating this quiet ache: you’re not alone.
