Every week, we have the pleasure of taking one of our service users to visit his lovely wife at her care home. And without fail, he never forgets her favourite treat! A Walnut Whip 🍫🥜

🐾💙 A Special Visit 💙🐾

This week one of our lovely service users popped by to meet our of carers dogs’ and it was smiles (and tail wags!) all round! 🐶✨

Moments like these show just how much joy and comfort animals can bring. Whether it’s a cuddle, a waggy tail, or simply sitting together, the bond between people and pets is truly something special 💙

At HomeKare , we love creating opportunities for these little moments of happiness. They really do brighten the day! 🌟

🐾🎶 When your best mate joins in… 🎶🐾

One of our lovely service users was caught having a good sing song with his dog and let’s just say the howling harmonies were spot on! 😂🐶

Moments like these remind us that joy, laughter and companionship are just as important as care 💙

We’re not sure who hit the high notes better… but we think they both deserve a round of paws 🐾

💙 Sometimes the simplest ideas can open the biggest doors 💙

One of our carers noticed that a lovely lady we support, who is living with dementia, sometimes found it hard to say what she wanted. So they brought along some flash cards, hoping it might help.

What happened next was beautiful. The two of them laughed together as they tried the cards out, and now they’ve become a special way for her to feel heard and understood.

Care is more than a job. It’s about patience, love, and finding those little ways to bring dignity, connection, and joy ✨

Today we celebrated our wonderful carer, on her birthday 🥳💐 She’s such a valued part of our team, and we were delighted to surprise her with some flowers and presents to mark her special day.

One of our wonderful carers surprised someone they support with a homemade scotch pie. As soon as she tasted it, she smiled and said, “This takes me right back home” 🥧

Today we had the absolute honour of celebrating one of our wonderful service users’ 65th wedding anniversary 💍💙

To mark this incredible milestone, our care team surprised them with flowers and gifts 🎁 A small token to show just how special they are to us 💙

65 years of love, laughter, and togetherness is truly inspiring, and we’re so proud to have been able to share this joyful day with them 🥂💙
