It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much respected and admired funeral director, Steven Buck.

Steven loved his job and it was his privilege to care and look after families. We have all been deeply moved by the letters of condolence and tributes received from these families and the wider community.

A book of condolence is open in the reception at Steadman's and all our welcome to attend his funeral on Friday 16th August, 11am at Memoria Doncaster & South Yorkshire.

Steven will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

Thank you to the team at Memoria Doncaster and South Yorkshire for the invitation to their annual panel meeting this evening.
Always a friendly welcome and very informative.
We also had the pleasure of meeting some of the team from Obitus who we work with every day to create the visual and audio tributes for the Funeral service.
The buffet was lovely too.

This morning I had the privilege of being at Haxey for the internment of ashes with Paul from Fields Funeral Directors. (Steadmans Funeral Directors, Doncaster.)
I conducted the lady's funeral a couple of months ago, and the family asked me to come back and conduct this ceremony for them too.
Did you know that there are several different options when considering what to do when your loved ones ashes are returned to you? Internment is one, but there are lots of others too, like scattering (with permission if needed), or having a special piece of jewellery made by someone like Beloved bespoke ashes inclusion jewellery.
