An evening of gentle yoga and journalling for creative expression and release.

This evening is an invitation to slow down and let something real move through you.

Guided by gentle yoga, spacious pauses and intuitive journalling, we’ll create room for expression without rules or expectations. Writing becomes a creative act — a place to spill, sketch with words, follow threads, and give shape to what’s been sitting quietly beneath the surface.

There’s no need to explain, analyse or polish anything. This is not about getting it right — it’s about letting it out. Through movement, breath and the page, we’ll soften the body and allow whatever wants to be expressed to land and release.

No writing experience needed. No sharing required.
Just an evening to express, unload and leave feeling lighter, clearer and more open.

Donna Ashworth always nails it!

When I say ‘happy new year’,
I’m not for a moment,
expecting this to occur,
for that is not possible,
a year must be all things.

Happiness must come and go,
like the tides and the winds,
just as sadness,
and all the emotions in between.

When I say ‘happy new year’,
I’m really wishing you,
a baseline of peace,
of gratitude.

Because if you can sit with these things,
for the most part,
happiness will thrive,
when it does arrive,
and sadness will know its place in the mix.

If you can nourish these things,
daily,
you will also grow hope,
for it flourishes in such soil.

And hope is the key,
to this enigmatic state
of ‘happiness’ we seek.

When I say ‘happy new year’,
I’m really wishing you more happy days,
than sad days,
more joy than misery,
more laughter than tears…
and the wisdom to accept,
that they all belong.

Happy new year, my friends.
Happy new year.

Winter Solstice ❄️✨
The longest night of the year, and the turning point.

This is the pause before the light returns.
The inhale before the exhale.

The light always comes back.
It always has.
Even when it felt impossible.

So tonight, light a candle.
Thank yourself for surviving the year.
And trust that what’s meant for you is already finding its way.

This image is of Newgrange in Ireland - a Neolithic passage tomb constructed around 5200 years ago. The passage and chambers are aligned with the rising sun on the mornings around Winter Solstice.
I was taken here on a trip in Primary school and was deeply moved by the place - looking back now I would describe it as a Spiritual experience but when I was 10, I had no idea 🤣
When I was looking for a photo for this post, I just realised that my latest tattoo is the tri-spiral etched in the stone of Newgrange!
