We’ve invested in brand new Life-Threatening Bleed Kits—now issued to our instructors as part of our ongoing mission to deliver practical, visual, and high-impact first aid training.

Why? The HSE has updated its guidance, shifting from “catastrophic bleeding” to “life-threatening bleeding”—a crucial change that reflects the real risks faced in many UK workplaces and larger venues.

At ER Training all of our First Aid at Work courses will include practical instruction on improvised tourniquets, supported by realistic bleed control scenarios using these new kits.

For high-risk workplaces—like construction, forestry, remote sites, and locations with heavy machinery, full more indepth sessions can be booked or added to standard courses - Everyone deserves more than just theory. They deserve training that prepares people to act.
