A bit about me and why professional standards matter at The Ear Clinic
When it comes to your hearing, tinnitus or balance, trust really matters. So I wanted to share a little about who you’ll see at The Ear Clinic.
I’m Chris Bowes, an HCPC and AHCS registered, educated at Manchester University to MSc level.
I’m a passionate Audiologist with 29 years’ experience.
I’ve spent:
• 24 years in the NHS, supporting patients with a wide range of complex hearing and balance needs
• Time as a Senior Lecturer at De Montfort University, training the next generation of Audiologists
• 3 years at Oticon, a global hearing aid company, as National Training Manager for the UK & Ireland, helping clinicians deliver best-practice, evidence-led care
Those registrations (HCPC and AHCS) aren’t just letters after a name they mean working to strict professional standards, staying up to date, and always putting patient safety and care first.
Whether you’re struggling with hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness, balance issues or just want trusted advice, you’ll be looked after by someone who’s been doing this for a long time and genuinely cares about you.
Because your hearing and balance deserve experience, honesty and proper professional standards 👂
If you ever want to chat or book an appointment, I’m always happy to help.
