Thank you to the team at Soverign House, NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board for their collection of coats for our coat bank at Field Road Surgery and Northfield Surgery. Helping us keep Stainforth & Thorne warm this winter.

Remember we are taking donation throughout winter. Anyone in need of a coat just call into the surgeries and help yourself.

🥫 Supporting Our Local Foodbank 🥫

At Northfield Surgery, we’re committed to supporting our local community and helping those in need.

We are now collecting donations for the local foodbank — you’ll find the collection point in our reception area.

Any long-life or non-perishable food items would be greatly appreciated, such as:
• Tinned goods (soups, beans, vegetables, fruit, etc.)
• Pasta, rice, or cereal
• Tea, coffee, or long-life milk
• Toiletries and household essentials

Every small donation helps make a big difference. Thank you for your kindness and generosity 💙

🧥 Northfield Surgery Practice Coat Bank 🧥

Our Coat Bank is now open, with a rail located inside the surgery. Our aim is simple — that no one goes cold this winter.

If you are in need of a coat, please feel free to take one. We have a variety of adult coats available on the rail, and a small selection of children’s coats stored in boxes underneath.

We are accepting donations until at least December. All we ask is that donated coats are clean, in good condition, and wearable.

Together, we can help keep our community warm this winter. ❤️

Do you know your numbers this September❓

Every September, blood pressure checks are taken by thousands to prevent heart attacks and strokes. ❤️‍🩹

Know Your Numbers! Week reaches those who have high blood pressure and don’t know it, so they can get the treatment and support they need to bring it under control.

Ask at the reception desk in surgery for a token to use the pod or book in with our nursing team for a BP check. 👩‍⚕️

Today marks World Su***de Prevention Day, whilst we don’t differentiate our mission statement for any day of the week, today means that people around the UK & the world stand up and speak up as well as bring attention to the battle we are fighting to break the stigma around mental health 🗣️

Never underestimate the power of a conversation.❤️

Here at Andys Man Club we see everyday as su***de prevention day, but today is an extra reminder to check in on those around you. Even the ones who seem ‘okay’.
