Exercise for the body and the brain is important for all but especially important for people with Parkinson’s.
PD warrior is a fantastic exercise programme for people in the early stages of Parkinson’s that works to help slow down the symptoms of Parkinson’s.
We are thinking of setting up a PD warrior class in the Rotherham/ Doncaster area.
Please comment or message me on here to find out more or to show an expression of interest.

Exciting news!!
If you would prefer your physiotherapy assessment and treatment in a clinic environment we can now offer appointments at our clinic room at Parkgate mobility shop in Rotherham.

Our team has a neurological physiotherapist that specialises in the treatment of conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, M.S and head injuries.
And we have a physiotherapist that specialises in treatment of balance disorders, rehabilitation after injury or surgery (orthopaedic or general surgery) and in rehabilitation of the older person- this may be work around falls or general strengthening to improve mobility or quality of life.
We are happy to have a chat with you if you want to find out more information and to see if we could help you.
And now you can choose to be seen in your own home or in a clinic.

Love Activity, Hate Exercise?
Did you know that the government advises that adults should undertake physical activity to improve muscle strength on at least 2 days each week? And that only 50% of adults do the recommended minimum of 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise each week?

Are you struggling to get active? Physiotherapy can help you to overcome your barriers.

Contact us to get you started with an exercise or activity programme, tailored to meet your individual needs.

Have a look at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy’s current campaign to help the nation to get active.

Evidence shows that being physically active has enormous benefits for your physical and mental health. But many people find it hard to do as much as they would like. This can be for any number of reasons, including pain, fear, fatigue, a lack of time or motivation.
