Is screen time really that bad for your child’s eyes? 👁️📱

The truth is, screens themselves aren’t the problem, it’s the amount of time spent on them without breaks. Too much close-up focus can lead to digital eye strain, causing symptoms like tired eyes, blurred vision, and headaches.

Luckily, small changes can make a big difference. Limiting screen time, encouraging regular breaks, promoting outdoor play, and keeping up with routine eye exams can all help protect your child’s vision.

If you’ve noticed any changes in your child’s eyesight or signs of visual discomfort, it may be time to book an appointment. 👀
