One question I hear almost every week is this:
“Why does my back pain keep coming back?”
For many people, the problem isn’t a single injury or a lack of treatment.
It’s that the focus has been on short-term pain relief rather than how the spine is actually functioning over time.
Pain is a warning signal — but it doesn’t always tell the full story.
When spinal movement, stability, and nervous system coordination aren’t addressed, symptoms often settle temporarily and then return. That can be frustrating and confusing, especially if you’ve “done all the right things”.
This is why proper assessment matters.
Not everyone needs the same approach, and not every back problem is the same.
At Premier Chiropractic, our focus is on understanding why a problem is there, whether chiropractic care is appropriate, and what makes sense for you long-term — not quick fixes or promises.
If back pain keeps returning, it’s worth asking a better question than
“Why does it hurt again?”
Sometimes the better question is
“What hasn’t been addressed yet?”
