A video round up of this week's AP groups. We did lots of animal care, explored the basics of owning a pet and the responsibility that sits alongside that, spent time enjoying the welcome signs of spring 🌸 developed team communication skills, advanced empathy and regulation via various mindfulness activities and personal challenges, reflected on individual targets, and rounded off each day with some time to play and enjoy each other's company. Well done all, excellent work 😊

Today's Bitesize AP spent time caring for the animals, had a visit from the farrier - who kindly allowed them to observe him at work with the horses, then worked on some individual projects in readiness for leading small lessons that each of our group participants are due to engage with. We'd discussed topics during last weeks session that we'd like to learn more about and therefore spent time learning basic BSL sign language, and rounded off the day with a nature hunt around the farm. Well done all, excellent work 😊

Today's Primary AP have done some work on developing their boardgames, making clay figures. Cooked a healthy vegetarian butternut squash curry and discussed healthy eating.
Done some talking therapy as a group around self identity, exploring qualities and beliefs about themselves and others. Followed by some work on self control, before playing their inside out emotions card game that was finished this morning. Well done all, excellent work 🥳

Today's Primary AP spent the morning caring for the animal team and enjoying Cece's company 🐈‍⬛ We then headed off to Baggeridge to finish laying our nature trail for any willing participants, followed by some time playing on the park. Our youngsters show such care, compassion and kindness throughout their interactions with each other and the animals, it's a privilege to watch. Well done all, fab day 👏 😊

Today's Primary AP spent time looking after specific aspects of the animal therapy team's care, followed by a visit to TFM for animal feed and a diversion to the garden centre on the way back to complete a research task all about fish 🐟 We then headed back to JM for lunch and then spent the afternoon at Baggeridge, hunting for signs of spring 🥳🌸💜 an excellent day all round - well done all, be proud of yourselves 😊

Today's Secondary AP have spent the day making the most of the glorious sunny weather 😎 We went for a lovely long walk around Baggeridge and spent some time on the park, followed by a birthday celebration and plenty of time with the animals. There was also some "testing" of the goats new climbing frame, much to boys disgust 🐐🤣 Fab day everyone, well done to all of you. Here's hoping the spring weather continues 🤞🏼🌞🌸

Yesterday's Primary AP started the day making blob trees for their 2 chosen environments: home and somewhere else like school/clubs and then began constructing a compost heap to put leaves and other organic matter in.
They also continued some projects around self regulation, played the emoji game, and did some work on differing perspectives and emotions. Well done all, excellent work 😊

Today's Primary AP started the day caring for our animal team (and playing in puddles), followed by a visit to Dudley library to start Unit 2 of our animal-based interpersonal skills course. They then created birthday cards for a youngster in our local community who is trying to break a UK record and delivered them to their drop off point, before heading back to the farm for pick up. Excellent team work, empathy and compassion demonstrated throughout. Well done all 😊
