Yesterday's Primary AP started the day making blob trees for their 2 chosen environments: home and somewhere else like school/clubs and then began constructing a compost heap to put leaves and other organic matter in.
They also continued some projects around self regulation, played the emoji game, and did some work on differing perspectives and emotions. Well done all, excellent work 😊

Today's Primary AP started the day caring for our animal team (and playing in puddles), followed by a visit to Dudley library to start Unit 2 of our animal-based interpersonal skills course. They then created birthday cards for a youngster in our local community who is trying to break a UK record and delivered them to their drop off point, before heading back to the farm for pick up. Excellent team work, empathy and compassion demonstrated throughout. Well done all 😊

Some pics from yesterday's Secondary AP group. We spent the morning at Dudley Library, completing Unit 1 of our Understanding Interpersonal skills through Animal-assisted Therapy course, where all young people conducted themselves brilliantly, following up their research with some self-guided reading. Once back at the yard we completed the various animal care jobs in a very boggy field. Well done all, excellent work 🥳

Today's Primary AP spent the morning working on their qualification, exploring Interpersonal skills through Animal-assisted Therapy, at Wombourne library, then headed back to the farm to make bird-feeders for our wild friends ahead of the predicted cold snap 🥶❄️🐦‍⬛Well done all, excellent work 🥳

Today's Primary AP made sure the animals had plenty of food to keep them happy and warm ahead of the predicted storm ❄️ and then carried out a winter watch task at the Wyre Forest as part of a sensory re-tuning activity to get us back in the spirit of nature at the start of a new term 🌳🍁🪾🐦‍⬛
