How much hay should you feed your rabbits?

The answer is simple: Unlimited.

But what does ‘unlimited’ actually look like?

As a guide, your rabbits should have access to a pile of fresh hay at least the size of their own body every single day, even if they have constant access to grass. Hay should make up the majority of their diet, with fresh leafy greens around 10% and pellets no more than 5%.

Popsie will forever have a special place in my heart. She and her big sister Cookie—who has since crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈—were the very first pets I had the privilege of visiting at home.

She is not the biggest fan of having her nails clipped but she is a good girl.

I visited Daisy Mabel and Ronnie yesterday to trim their nails. Not all of their nails needed doing but I just loved having cuddles and feeding them treats! I could have stayed there all day, what a lovely bunch!

Blitz is one of my "senior" cats that I visit regularly for her nail clip, she is 20 years old 😱😱😱 Would you guess that she has to have a special "chill pill" prescribed by her vets before I visit??? She really is a special girl and I love to visit her 😊.
