At ProSkills Training Academy, we strongly believe that education saves lives — and that begins with challenging common misconceptions surrounding CPR.

There are still many persistent myths that prevent individuals from acting in an emergency situation, including concerns about causing injury, legal implications, or believing that only healthcare professionals should intervene.

These misunderstandings can result in hesitation at a time when immediate action is critical.

Early cardiopulmonary resuscitation significantly increases the chances of survival following cardiac arrest. Clear, accurate guidance is essential in building confidence and empowering members of the public to respond effectively.

🚑 Could you save a life at home? 🚑

According to the British Resuscitation Council, around 80% of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur in the home — often affecting a loved one, friend, or neighbour. Knowing how to respond in those critical first minutes can make the difference.
