We’ve been truly overwhelmed seeing the incredible response to the fabric support bags our staff created for . Hearing that they’ve already made an impact within the unit has meant the world to us!
The bags are now being used in the most meaningful ways:
- As gift bags for people starting treatment
- To carry donated Christmas presents for those facing an especially tough festive season
- As take-home bags at monthly skincare and makeup classes supporting people undergoing or recovering from treatment

Our wonderful team at Tibard took part of Wear It Pink Day today to support breast cancer awareness! We had a tombola, raffle, cakes and fun games with exciting prizes taking place throughout the day to help raise money. Along with our just giving page with donations going directly to Breast Cancer Now.
We proudly raised a total of £1098.40, thank you to everyone who participated and got involved- we hope our contributions make a difference to this vital cause close to many hearts!

We’re proud to share the 400 bespoke Macmillan support bags our staff have created for cancer patients as part of their day of volunteering — a meaningful step forward from the traditional paper bags (see last slide). From initial design ideas to machinists adding love heart detailing, we are so pleased with the result of these pamper bags and the team effort put in to make this happen.

These thoughtfully designed fabric bags move away from standard branding to provide privacy, comfort, and convenience for those receiving care. Each one is crafted using discontinued and repurposed materials, helping us reduce waste and champion sustainability at every stage.

The women’s designs feature uplifting pastel colours and floral patterns, complete with a matching zip pouch — while the men’s bags carry a sleek grey and blue stripe for a timeless, understated look. All filled by Macmillan with cosmetics, toiletries, hand cream, lip balm, to puzzle books and stress balls.
