✨ Can Reiki Help With This? ✨
I’m often asked, “Can Reiki help with this?” whether that’s pain, stress, anxiety, low mood, or just feeling out of balance. So I thought I’d put a little post together to explain who Reiki can benefit, and why it’s become such an important part of my own journey.
I first turned to Reiki while living with fibromyalgia. Chronic pain can be incredibly draining, not just on the body but on the mind too. Reiki offered me a gentle form of support during that time. It helped my body to relax, and gave my nervous system a chance to properly rest. When my body felt calmer, my pain often felt more manageable.
This is why Reiki can be so helpful as a complementary therapy for chronic pain. By encouraging deep relaxation, it supports the body’s natural healing processes. When we’re constantly stressed or in pain, the body can stay stuck in a heightened state. Reiki helps bring things back into balance, allowing the body to soften and reset.
There’s also a powerful emotional and mental health side to Reiki. Many people come to sessions feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or simply burnt out. Reiki provides a calm, supportive space where you can switch off, breathe, and let go, even if just for a while. People often say they leave feeling lighter, and more grounded.
