Angela’s Bright-Minds & Beautiful Souls

Angela’s Bright-Minds & Beautiful Souls I specialise in providing counselling and support for woman like me! Through all stages of womanhood I’ve got you covered!

I also help teens and young peiople struggling with anxiety, stress and overwhelm to name a few! Whether your child needs support with literacy, numeracy, STEM, or other primary-level subjects, I am here to help. As a fully qualified primary teacher with extensive experience, I specialise in teaching up to the second level of the Curriculum for Excellence (CfE). This means I am equipped to work with high school students who may still be at the Second level of learning or lower (unsure what level your child is at, contact me and I’ll help) providing support that complements and enhances what they receive in a secondary school setting. About Me:
• Qualified and Experienced: I am a fully qualified primary teacher, PVG checked, with many years of experience working in primary education. I have taught children across various ages and stages, including those with additional support needs.
• Flexible Learning Options: While I predominantly offer online tutoring, I am also available for face-to-face sessions where appropriate. Online sessions require a device capable of using Zoom or Teams, a reliable internet connection, and a quiet, well-lit space free from distractions.
• Tailored Approach: As a mother of two teenage boys who have faced their own challenges within the education system, I understand that each child’s learning journey is unique. I am committed to finding the most effective approach for your child, whether through play-based learning, visible learning, active learning, or more traditional methods.
• Specialist in Additional Support Needs: I have both personal and professional experience working with young people who require additional support, including those with dyslexia, autism, and ADHD. I am dedicated to creating a safe, understanding environment where your child can thrive. My Approach:
• My goal is to help your child rediscover the joy of learning. By tailoring my sessions to suit their individual needs, I aim to make learning engaging and enjoyable, while still ensuring they meet the necessary targets and goals. Services Offered:
• Free Initial Consultation: I offer an initial intake appointment at no charge. This allows us to discuss your child’s needs and ensure a good fit.
• Weekly Tutoring Sessions: I recommend weekly sessions to establish a consistent learning routine and build a strong, supportive relationship with your child.
• Additional Support Needs: I am available to tutor young people with additional support needs who may be struggling in mainstream education and need one-on-one support in a safe, understanding environment. Pricing:
• Hourly Sessions: £20 (online) £25 per hour (in person)
• 30-Minute Sessions: £18 per session
• Note: Shorter sessions may be more suitable for younger children or those who find it challenging to maintain focus for extended periods. Let’s work together to help your child achieve their full potential. Contact me today to schedule your free initial consultation and take the first step towards a more positive and fulfilling learning experience for your child.

✨ Stop. Pause. Protect your energy. ✨

We’re so used to writing endless to-do lists that we forget how powerful a stop-doing list can be.

💭 What habits, commitments, or patterns are draining your energy?
💭 What could you gently set down so you have space to breathe again?

Creating healthy boundaries isn’t selfish—it’s essential. When you protect your time and energy, you’re not only filling your own bucket, you’re making sure you have the strength, love, and capacity to show up fully for the people who matter most. 🌿

👉 Maybe it’s saying no to overcommitting.
👉 Maybe it’s letting go of negative self-talk.
👉 Maybe it’s stepping back from people or places that constantly take without giving.

Your “stop doing” list is a gift to yourself. And when your bucket is full, you can pour into others without running dry. 💧💛

✨ What’s one thing you could add to your “stop-doing” list today?

✨ Checking in! ✨

Hi everyone, just a wee check in to see how you’re all getting on. I’ll be setting up a live call soon so keep your eyes peeled for that.

As some of you know, I’ve been doing Couch to 5K. I’m only on week 2 and still waiting for the moment it suddenly becomes easy… any day now, right? But it got me thinking. Just like in life, we don’t always get to choose how we feel when things feel tough. What we can do is choose how we respond.

I had to shift my thoughts from “this is brutal” to “hang on a minute, I’m actually doing this! It’s my 4th run, I haven’t given up, I’m running further, and I can still breathe!” Small win, big shift.

So here’s my question for you: what little reframe could help you handle something better in your own life today? Drop it in the comments, I’d love to hear.

And if you’d like more of this kind of chat, support, and inspiration, come and join my Skool community — you’ll find the link in my bio. 💫
