✨Is the Yurt and my offering right for you?

✨With so many sound events, treatment spaces and yoga classes available how do you know where to go and who to choose? I thought I’d add a wee bit of information to help you decide:

✨Yurt treatments are designed holistically at your appointment time to meet your needs and can be made up of massage, sound therapy, reflexology, facial work, Indian head massage and Reiki.

✨Yurt treatments are maybe not for you if prefer a clinical environment, want a full length facial or sports massage or need absolute silence to relax.

✨Yurt soundscapes are intuitive and gentle with soft crystal bowls and chimes and deep grounding gongs with Himalayan tones.

✨Yurt soundscapes are maybe not for you if you like your sound very loud. There may be moments of increased volume but Yurt gongs will never come to a crescendo and should never leave you feeling uncomfortable.

✨Yurt Reiki is a way of life, an offering to enhance your wellbeing and deepen your relaxation.

✨Yurt Reiki is maybe not for you if you want to talk about chakras or me tell you what you need to work on. We will work together to find an intention for your treatment and let the Reiki do the rest.

✨Yurt yoga is soothing and nurturing. Everything is provided so all you need to do is turn up. Classes are small and Yin/Yin Yang style. We feel and melt into poses that are right for our bodies without force or ego. At the end you will be whisked away by a gong relaxation.

✨Yurt yoga is not for you if want to know exactly what type of yoga you will be doing or prefer an alignment focussed class. Yurt Yoga is a fluid offering which may vary with the seasons or energy in the Yurt at the time.

✨The Yurt is deeply embedded in my heart and soul! It is filled with love, positive energy and a huge amount of training to enable me to safely look after you. For me, the Yurt is like a portal that takes you somewhere that you need to be and transports you into a bubble of warmth and loveliness.

✨But maybe I’m not your person and the Yurt is not for you and I am learning now that is ok. ✨🥰✨

✨Soundscapes at The Yurt at Belhaven✨

✨Five magnificent gongs, crystal and Himalayan bowls are now combined with a unique sound experience of handmade instruments crafted with German mountain crystal and hand fired copper. ✨

If you are interested in how I am going to combine these beautiful instruments please join me in the yurt by the fire for an evening of luxurious relaxation. Handmade cakes and teas will be served afterwards or can be taken home if you prefer.

Dates are selling out quickly. There are a couple of tickets left for Friday 26th September, 10th October is fully booked now and there are some spaces available for 24th October. New dates will be released soon and private soundscapes are also available on request.

Tickets are £20 and available via the booking link or on my website. If you have any concerns about lying on a padded mat on the floor please message me to arrange a recliner chair or more supportive bedding.

☀️Here comes the Sun☀️

I am so excited to bring the magnificent Sun gong to the yurt and my sound offerings.

This amazing gong radiates strong, deep energy and is tuned to the frequency of the Sun - the most powerful celestial body in the solar system.

I was instantly drawn to this gong but I did question whether I should bring such a masculine gong into the yurt, a sanctuary which honours all things feminine but it feels so right.

Both grounding and uplifting the Sun gong is positive and bright helping us to shine like the light force that it represents.

Can you tell how much I love this gong already?!

I forgot to say it was also something about this specific sun gong that lead it to me. I almost bought a different one but it turned out that it wanted to stay with its player. I drove to Norfolk to collect this gong where it lived just 15 minutes from where my mum and grandparents are from and was played many times in Hunstanton beach which was one of my favourite places to go as a child 🥰☀️

I don’t normally record myself playing. Those of you who know me well know that I can be a bit of an over thinker so listening to myself play is something I tend to avoid and just go with the enjoying the experience of playing but I wanted to feel it from the other side.

This morning I played just the gongs for 45 minutes - no additional sparkle or bowls and then went back to bed for I listen to it. Having already had 2 cups of strong coffee, I wasn’t expecting myself to zone out too much. After about 10 minutes into the recording I realised I’d been listening to it with my big noise cancelling headphones on so I must have been pretty chilled already 😂🤦‍♀️. I then reset them up and went on to listen. Today’s soundscape was a dark and deeply relaxing journey. My intention before playing is my own but when listening I wanted to analyse and listen to the playing as well as feel it but the combination of flumies, mallets and gongs took away my concentration and ability to think. I know that this is why I came to the gong- it stills my busy mind and brings me a deep sense of grounding and inner peace.

✨If you need some to escape for a while or just want to relax, I have 4 soundscapes scheduled for Fridays at 7 in September and October (5/9, 26/9, 10/10 & 24/10).
