We’ve got a few new followers, so welcome to my page 🎉

After 13 years in paediatric physiotherapy and some amazing experiences working with football clubs, I now focus on Sports Therapy, helping people recover from injuries with a range of treatments - from cupping to shockwave therapy.

I’ve been working with my coach to break down my driver swing and rebuild it step by step, focusing on more power, stability, and speed.

📍 Part 1: Lead Hip Mobility
During our first session, we found a big limitation: restricted external rotation in my lead hip.

When that mobility is lacking:
- The lead knee tends to collapse inward
- Rotation becomes less efficient
- Power gets lost
- Injury risk increases

In the photos:

Image 2: A stronger, more stable stance, but now my limited thoracic rotation stands out (more on that in a future post)

➡️ This is a great reminder that when one area is tight, other parts of the swing often compensate.

Groin feeling tight after training, sitting, or playing sport?
Try these two stretches to hit the right areas and open up your movement:

1️⃣ Frog stretch (with rocking):
Move gently forward and back to hit multiple fibres of the adductors, not just one line of tension. Keep hips in line with knees and breathe deeply.

2️⃣ Kneeling lunge (with foot movement):
By moving the front foot in a circular motion and keeping your arms overhead, you lengthen from the front of the hip all the way into the groin and even up into the torso.
Great for anyone who sits a lot or plays change-of-direction sports!

Ideal for pre-training mobility, easing groin tightness, and boosting hip range - try them at home for just 5 minutes a few times a week and feel the difference in how freely you move 🙌
