🔥 Challenge Day 3: The 2-Minute Peace Pause
We’ve eaten the rainbow 🌈. We’ve danced like elves 💃.
Now, it’s time to tackle the ultimate inflammatory fuel: STRESS!
Your body is wired to fight, but constant holiday stress (the ‘go-go-go!’) keeps your inner fire roaring. To truly , we need to deliberately signal to our body that it is safe to rest.
Your simple mission for Day 3 is to take a 2-MINUTE PEACE PAUSE at least once today.
This is a powerful moment where you interrupt the stress cycle and hit the reset button, shifting your nervous system from ‘fight’ to ‘calm’ in just 120 seconds.
Choose your Pause:
• 🧘 Box Breathing: Inhale (4), Hold (4), Exhale (4), Hold (4). The ultimate nervous system hack.
• ☕ Mindful Sip: Stop and focus only on the taste, temperature, and aroma of your drink.
• ✨ Gratitude Scan: Close your eyes and name 3 things you are truly thankful for right now.
• 🤸 Simple Stretch: Roll your shoulders back 3 times, let your head hang loose. Release the tension you’re holding.
• 🖐️ Grounding: Name 5 things you see, 4 you hear, 3 you touch, 2 you smell, 1 you taste. (Brings you instantly into the present moment!)
