Fabulous day of learning and meeting new people.

Tea Leaf Reading , Natural Medicine, Yoga🧘‍♀️ Cacao Ceremony, the most beautiful Sound Bath, not to mention a beautiful , wholesome nourishing lunch , hot chocolate with mallows & fudge all in the most beautiful setting 🧡🍂. Oh and few wee keepsakes too. 😆

RANT TIME

If you don't want to read it,scroll on by.

Just after this photo was taken a large, young collie cross dog ran over and went for Roxy. He was twice her size and also off the lead.

As most of you know ,my wee Rox has severe arthritis in both back paws. We are now only 1 step away from her needing the maximum medication the vet can prescribe. So when I say severe, I'm being realistic not dramatic.

I don't expect strangers to know or appreciate Roxys condition but I do expect to be able to walk my elderly dog safely.

The couple could not have been more apologetic.

I don't think Rox was bitten . Thankfully a combo of my reactions and the owner calling their dog, he suddenly backed off....however he had Rox , who was on her lead ,pinned and she was jerking to get free and back to her feet. Not a good experience but certainly not good for her joints in their present condition.

If you see a dog on a lead, unless you know your dog well , keep your own dog on its flaming lead please.

We are home and I've more painkillers into her as I could see a difference in her walking after this had happened.

This could have been avoided.

So , today I has the privilege of attending a Bereaved Parents Day arranged by Dianna McDowell , founder and creator of the Molly & Mia Foundation.

Dianna and I first spoke when she rented my caravan 2 years ago. Dianna was my second guest and spent the weekend of Childloss Awareness week 2022 in my van . It was only during the Wave of Light we realised we shared the difficult path of both being Bereaved parents.

I spent today learning how to cut glass ( new skill 🤦‍♀️😆), chatting, sharing stories and experiences with other Bereaved Mums. We were treated to a beautiful lunch , a workshop on Creative Writing and an afternoon in the sun , with the option of a hot tub.

This was my first visit to Stewartstown and such lovely wee town it is 😍

All those present ,lit a candle in memory of the child or children we have lost in this lifetime.

My wee Anna sent me a sign....just as we were preparing for the candle lighting ceremony ,one of the ladies mentioned the name " Anna ". So there she was. In the middle of it . Her name was mentioned again later as we sat in the sunshine enjoying coffee and scrummy cakes. 🩷

Our loved ones are always nearby. Look for the signs . 😊

I thoroughly enjoyed simply attending and receiving today. Working more with Bereavement has been calling me for sometime now....maybe today has been my nudge from Spirit 🙌🙌🙌

Many thanks to Dianna for including me today . It's 20 years since I attended a day purely for Bereaved parents...but regardless of the time that has past since your loss....you will always be a Bereaved parent. 🌟
