Registrations are now open for Tai Chi Classes here at MYMY.

Inspire Wellbeing coaches will be offering Tai Chi classes on Thursday 5th March, Thursday 19th March and Thursday 2nd April at 12pm -1 pm in MYMY training room, 28-32 Main Street Newcastle, BT33 0AD.

Tai Chi also known as Tai Chi Chuan is a martial art that originated in China. It was initially developed for self-defence and combat, it has evolved into a popular form of exercise and meditation. Practitioners perform a series of gentle, deliberate movements while focusing on their breath, which promotes relaxation and mental clarity.

As many of you know, each year through Heart & Harmony CIC we choose to give back to our local community by gifting a performance to a charity close to our hearts.

Last year, Amanda sang at a fundraiser for The Pantry Foodbank in NCC — such a special day of connection and generosity.

This year, she’ll be performing at a fundraiser for Mymy at the stunning Castlewellan Castle on 25th March, along with with a fantastic line up of other acts✨

For just £10 per person, you’re invited to join us for what promises to be a truly magical evening of music, heart, and community spirit.

Giving back is at the core of what Heart & Harmony stands for — creativity, well-being, and inner harmony in action. 💚

Last night’s Meditation & Therapeutic Sound Session at , Kilkeel was something really special ✨

A gentle space to pause…
To breathe…
To soften…

Through guided meditation and immersive sound, we created room for stillness, release and reconnection. You could feel the shift in the room — nervous systems settling, shoulders dropping, hearts opening 💗

So grateful to hold these spaces of healing and calm in our community.

Rain couldn’t stop us today 🌧️✨
We brought nature indoors and created our own little sunsets instead.
There’s something so special about pausing, connecting, and letting creativity flow — even when the weather has other plans. Every person created their own unique woodland masterpiece to take home, and each one was completely different… just like them.
Nature connection isn’t about where you are — it’s about how you feel. And today felt calm, grounded and full of colour. 🌲🌅
So grateful for these beautiful groups and their creativity.

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to everyone at NEWRY Street UNITE on the heartbreaking loss of John Doole, aged 11, who was tragically killed in a road accident.

Although I never had the privilege of meeting John personally, I am currently working with the girls’ youth group at NSU, who are a truly wonderful bunch.

Instead of our usual session last night, NSU hosted a drop-in remembrance evening for John. The young people wrote letters, and I supported them in drawing pictures that will be gathered into a memory book.

It was incredibly sad, yet deeply touching, to sit alongside these children in shared grief — witnessing their honesty, care for one another, and the love they wanted to express for their friend.

My admiration goes out to Ann and all the staff and volunteers at Newry Street Unite for holding such compassionate space, and for supporting these young people as they begin to process something so difficult at such a young age. Their care, sensitivity, and presence truly mattered.

Thinking of John’s family, friends, and the entire NSU community at this very painful time. 🤍
