At SCX Fitness OIR COMMUNITY is our number1️⃣ strength.
Despite differences in gender, age, upbringing, jobs, goals, our members encourage, support and drive each other on to achieve their goals at the same time of focusing on achieving their own.
DAN, 36, Dad of 2 Under 5, full time senior job and running mad performance driven member.
Dan last year smashed his first marathon after 9 months with us. His addition of strength training with us complemented all of his running training helping to condition his body.

“When I joined SCX in 2025 it had been 5 years since I’d ran a personal best, I had genuinely no belief I’d ever run a decent time again.
The 6 week block I started with transformed it all… a year and a bit later, I’m fitter, a lot healthier, surpassing times I’d ever ran before and thoroughly enjoying working on strength and conditioning under the guidance of Stephen and the team, while pushing myself with the support of all the others members.”
Calum, 57, full time senior business leader, travels for work and manages to train 4 x per week.
Calum has successfully completed a number of Hyrox events with his time improving each race. His next is Helsinki.
RESULT ⚡️
But, more importantly than this for Calum, not only is he the healthiest he has been in 2 years, he has also been passed by the doctor to come off his day and night inhaler (asthma) and go down onto an ‘as and when you need’ one.
