The first astrology group is now a quarter of the way through the course already ✨

Tonight we discussed the Taurus/Scorpio axis which is all about stability vs transformation (in a very small nutshell).

There is a lot to take in in this course. Truly, you could learn astrology your whole life and still have more to learn. My aim is to give those attending the course the best start they can have to take the overwhelm out of learning and have a very strong foundation to stand on as they continue to learn over time.

Astrology has been woven into the human experience for thousands of years, across many different civilisations and cultures.
It has been used a lot more than you might think in modern times too. In 1940, Winston Churchill hired an astrologer. British intelligence found that Germany had 6 astrologers during WW2. J.P Morgan is quoted to have said ‘Millionaires don’t use astrology, billionaires do’. Queen Elizabeth I consulted an astrologer, as did Princess Diana.

I find it to be something that really helps me to see a bigger picture to life and what it is to be human and feel grateful for everyone who has recorded and passed on knowledge over the years, as well as for the modern day astrologers who are continuing to develop astrology as times move on and as our awareness of what’s out there continues to expand.

On that note, something that Pam Gregory said that sticks in my mind is that astrology is not only something that is ‘out there’… the further out there we go, the further into oursleves we go too ✨

My friend Zelda Topaz Rose Creations is starting her circles in South Queensferry!

So exciting 🥰✨

I am so pleased to announce, coming May, I will be holding my women's circles in South Queensferry at the Haven.
These circles will be for anyone who needs support, in a safe place, with no judgment surrounded with others who need a network and tribe.
The circles will be tough, and real, there will be meditation and journaling, and some weeks will be fun, but these circles are about being raw and rebuilding yourself.

At present they will be held on a Wednesday night and Saturday afternoon.

If you feel that circles are too overwhelming, but would like to discuss my manifestation coaching please come speak to me.

Price and dates will follow soon.

Really excited about this collaboration ✨

So excited to share that Janine and I will be hosting a New Moon Circle in April!!

This circle will fall on a new moon in Aries during Aries season.
Aries is filled with the energy of initiation and starting things. Astrologically speaking, this is the first new moon of the new year and is the perfect time to set intentions and manifest.

Janine is an amazing host who has the gift of bringing like-minded women together.

She will start the evening by talking us through what this new moon means Astrologically for all of us then we will journal and set intentions. I will, then, talk about all things manifestation.

✨ How to actually manifest what you want.

🕯️ A deep dive into candle colors and their hidden meanings.

🌿 The magical properties of different herbs and how to use them.

And then we will Cast a Spell to send our intentions out into the Universe ✨️

The Goodies:

Every guest gets a Manifestation Kit (a candle, crystal, spell herb mixture, and some little extras).

The price will be £30 for this event.

Please also bring a notepad and pen.

I have been reflecting this evening on how thankful I am to have met the women that I have met over the last two years. It blows me away sometimes to think that many of us who are connected now didn’t know each other just a few years ago and yet it feels like we are old friends.

My relationships mean the world to me 🩷

I’m the kind of person who always likes to share things (if you know anything about astrology I have my sun, Mars and mercury in the 7th house with moon, Mars and mercury in libra… this will explain that haha).
This was my motivation for writing the tarot course and now for the astrology course. I don’t really see the point in learning and diving deep when you can’t then share it with others.

I wanted to hold circles because, as so many of us did, I felt the huge need for in person connection heightened after the lockdowns.

When I wrote my first course I had no idea if anyone would come.
I didn’t really know many people and my circle was super small.

In fact, I spent my 20s and even the earliest part of my 30s very much in a behind the scenes kind of role. I was in relationships with people who I made myself small around whilst they shone brightly and would have made efforts to push me back down had I been my full self around them. It was a strange kind of uncomfortable comfort zone for me.

In my life I’ve been very used to being the ‘weird’ one. Within the context of my family, at school and also as a young adult. Often not fitting into many places but always holding onto my core sense of self, even when I was going in unconventional or plain bad directions. I know what it means to feel you don’t belong and so I am so passionate about creating an inclusive environment.

I have been told many times to stop playing small, stop hiding, stop hiding behind other people and when I started to step out and do my thing I felt so nervous. It really took me out of my comfort zone.

All this to say, I can’t believe the growth that’s come from doing just that. The sense of peace, purpose and connection is amazing.

I am so, so grateful to everyone who has come to circles or classes or held a circle or event that I’ve felt I can be myself at.

I have made friends from different walks of life, different ages with different talents and qualities and I just feel so grateful for it all. I’m glad that in not changing myself and just dealing with being the perpetual black sheep it’s actually all come to something positive ✨

Thank you! 🩷

I’m going to say something that might ruffle a few feathers in the “spiritual” world… because every time I open Facebook lately I’m bombarded with offerings.

Retreats. Workshops. Women’s circles. Sacred this. Sacred that…. so much of it looks exactly the same.

Five years ago I started my women’s circle because I wanted something authentic. I had been to circles before and, if I’m honest, they just didn’t feel like me. The “love and light”, the forced sisterhood, the floaty goddess energy… it all felt a bit contrived. Like you had to become a certain type of woman to belong there.

Five years on, after holding space for hundreds of women in circles, forests, beaches and around fires, I know how important it is to do this work properly and that’s definitely not my world.

So I created a space for normal women like me. Women who want to talk about real things. Women who might explore their spirituality but don’t want gimmicks or spiritual jargon.

We gathered in nature, around fires on the beach under the moon. In the forest as the sun rises. Working with the elements, the seasons and the Celtic festivals. No white floaty costumes required!

Sometimes we laugh. Sometimes things go deep. Sometimes women cry because a piece of poetry they wrote suddenly touches something inside them they didn’t expect. It’s real.

So this is the thing that’s been bothering me lately…

Holding space for people isn’t something you can learn in a five-minute online certificate and then start running workshops the following week.

When women feel safe enough to open up, things surface. Emotions, grief, trauma, life stories. That requires experience. Training. Emotional maturity. The ability to hold what comes up.

I hear so many women say they went to something and left feeling uncomfortable, awkward, or like the facilitator didn’t really know how to hold the room. That really worries me.

Because many women who come to these spaces are already exhausted. Stressed. Wired but tired. Their nervous systems are already dysregulated from juggling life, family, work and everything else.

The last thing they need is to sit in a room where they feel awkward, pressured to act a certain way spiritually, or uncomfortable with practices that don’t feel right.

That’s not healing. That just adds another layer of stress….

Spirituality isn’t a trend. It’s not something to package up with soft voices and hands-on-hearts while repeating new age buzzwords. Real spaces don’t ask you to become someone you’re not.

If you go somewhere and it makes you cringe… If you feel like you have to pretend to fit in… If you’re asked to take part in things that make you want the ground to open up and swallow you…

Trust that feeling. You’re not the problem. The space just isn’t authentic for you.

The work I do has always been about creating something real. A place where women can show up exactly as they are, without pretending to be more spiritual, more healed, or more “goddess-like” than they actually feel.

My circles were created for women who want depth, honesty and real connection. Not a carefully curated, cutesy version of spirituality.

If you’ve ever left a “spiritual” space feeling like that … you’re not alone. I hear it from women all the time.

In fact, many women message me privately to say they’ve had experiences like this but felt too awkward to speak up at the time. If that’s been you, you’re definitely not the only one.

And if you’re looking for something real instead… you’ll know where to find me…

Lesson one of the 12 week astrology class begins this evening ✨

This has been such a labour of love and months (though really over a decade) in the making.

Each student will be provided with a large laminated birth chart, a crystal and felt bag from Topaz Rose Creations and an astrology oracle deck from Pure Craft.

The bouquet in the centre was made by Sonia who is in college studying floristry 🌹🌻🩷

The Saturday morning class starts a week on Saturday and there are still two spaces if anyone would like to sign up.
