As part of the Men’s Club, our gentlemen enjoyed a fantastic visit to the local pub. It was the perfect opportunity to relax, share great conversation, and savour a well-deserved drink together.

We love creating moments that bring our residents closer and give them the chance to simply enjoy each other’s company.

The students from Café Cornell delighted our residents with a truly special visit. They arrived full of warmth and enthusiasm, sharing a beautiful selection of songs 🎶💛
Their music filled our home with joy, smiles, and moments we’ll treasure.

This week’s Tuesday Coffee Morning was a truly special one, as we gathered to honour Remembrance Day together. 🇬🇧☕️
Residents, families, and staff shared precious memories while enjoying coffee, tea, and a delicious slice of Victoria sponge cake.
We paused for a minute’s silence to reflect, listened to beautiful wartime songs, and enjoyed a heartfelt poem read by our wonderful volunteer, Trudie. ❤️
A truly touching morning of remembrance, reflection, and togetherness. 🌹

Our residents came together for another fun-filled cooking session! Everyone got involved in making a delicious coconut cake and some crispy homemade chips. It was wonderful to see all the smiles and great teamwork.

Our residents went out to the local Tesco yesterday! It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to pick up a few essentials and feel part of the wider community.
Days out like this offer so many benefits — from boosting confidence and independence to simply enjoying a change of scenery and some lovely company 💙

Our lovely ladies enjoyed another walking club! As always, we took a little break in the local playground. The perfect spot to stretch, share a laugh, and take part in a few gentle exercises together. 💪😊

We were delighted to host a fantastic Halloween Party at Humfrey Lodge! Many thanks to Joanna for her wonderful performance. It was wonderful to see our residents participating, singing along, and enjoying themselves 👻🧡🎶

During our arts and crafts activity, residents showed wonderful creativity making Halloween-themed picture frames with pumpkins, bats, Frankenstein, and more! 🎃🕸️
Afterwards, we had great fun taking photos with our spooky creations and truly felt the Halloween spirit come alive 👻

At Humfrey Lodge, we never miss a chance to bring a bit of themed fun to our residents! Last week, we held a pumpkin carving competition 🎃
Our residents showed off their artistic flair, from spooky faces to cheerful designs. All the beautifully carved pumpkins are proudly decorating our entrance for everyone to enjoy. 🍂👻
Well done to our talented residents for their creativity and teamwork 🎃👏
