At Jilly’s Helping Hands, I offer friendly help with shopping, outings, visits to the doctors, collecting prescription’s, cooking a hot meal or just company and a chat over a cuppa.

Research shows that social isolation and loneliness can have a detrimental effect on people's longevity of life and physical and mental health.

People living in more remote areas can go days and weeks without human interaction and often crave a friendly face. Somebody they can enjoy a cup of tea with and chat to about life. This can put immense pressure on families.

I offer home care support in Dunsford and the surrounding towns and villages to people who need regular companionship and support to live a full and independent lifestyle from the comfort of their own homes.

Exposure to forests boosts our immune system its a fact !! Phytoncides help plants fight disease, when we are exposed to these chemicals our bodies in turn increase white blood cells, helping our immune system. So if you can, get out there and forest bathe 🌳

The healing properties of nature is so beneficial, just being amongst it can reduce stress, anger, fear, not only does it make you feel better emotionally, but helps your physical wellbeing, by reducing your heart rate, blood pressure and stress hormones. So if you are able get out there do, if you can’t just viewing images of nature can have a similar effect.
