Hello all, I've decided to postpone this Sunday's Women's Circle and will get back to you with a replacement date very soon. I hope this doesn't cause any inconvenience 🙏

I have long used salt baths as a healing and restorative practice, at times as a vital element of self care.

The benefits of 3 good handfuls of Epsom salts in warm water with essential oils of choice are vast! Soak in them for 30-40 minutes and you will feel relaxed and restored.

The salts detoxify and then replenish minerals. They relax muscles, soothe the nerves and clear the energy field.

Please see www.seasalt.com as a good source of info.

I also use salts in scrubs for the hands, feet and head in the shower to clear energy and if you don't have a bath, you can use them in the same way in a bowl as a foot bath. (As per reflexology, your feet relate to all parts of the body).

I have long used Epsom salts to bathe my children. Not every time, but maybe once or twice a week if I feel they would benefit. I find it helps clear emotional upsets, prepares them for sleep and aids a restful sleep.

None of this is medical advice, it's just something I find hugely beneficial and thought I would share in case you fancy trying it too.

* I will say, after 15 mins or so, you may find yourself sweat and become very hot, this is the detoxifying process.

Sometimes I add cool water at this point.

If you do get out of the bath at this point, be careful as you stand in case you feel dizzy.

I stay in another 20 minutes or so though as the heat passes and then the replenishing of the soothing minerals can take place.

You must listen to your own body and decide what feels right for you*

Lemon balm and mint tea served fresh at tonight's Women's Circle...refreshing and calming. Yum! 🍵

Thank you so much to all who came. It was lovely to be together...an oasis of calm in the midst of a thunderstorm (literally and metaphorically!)

So looking forward to seeing you on Sunday for our first Women's Circle and please let me know if you would like to join us (Beth on 07857 071276).

You will need to bring a notepad and pen and anything you feel would help you lie or sit comfortably. This could be a yoga mat/thick blanket and cushion/bolster, a blanket and an eye mask if these soothe you.

Looking forward to leaving the noise of the world behind to be with you for an hour and a half of relaxation and time just for you.

See you at Shadforth Village Hall at 7pm on Sunday. There are parking bays outside the hall. Please get in touch if there is anything further you need to know. 🧘‍♀️

Whether or not you follow the moon's cycles and their influence on our human lives, it is hard to imagine that something which influences our earth's waters wouldn't also influence us; we who are mostly water! I'm sharing this post as I think it gives a good insight into this month's full moon.

On Sunday, at our Women's Circle, we will still feel the full moon's transformative power and we will harness this as I take you through a guided meditation to release any unnecessary burdens and responsibilities we still carry out of habit. You will feel refreshed, lighter and freer to make new choices if you so choose. 🙏

Incase like me, you have been feeling exhausted and just a little under the weather these past few days, here is the culprit 💜......

🌼🌼🌼The 🌼Flower🌼 Moon 🌼🌼🌼

The effects of a full moon can be felt approximately two days prior and two days after its actual peak and the upcoming full flower moon occurring in Sagittarius on May 23 feels fiery, fresh, enigmatic and passion-driven. Just as the tides of the oceans are influenced by the moon so too are our emotions and inner worlds. Even though they are a thing of beauty, full moons are notorious for their tumultuous potent energy, often leading to chaos, even emotional meltdowns.

The Flower Moon is a name given to the full moon that occurs in May by the Algonquin people. It is also known as the Planting Moon (specifically Corn Planting Moon). This is a time when spring sets in full swing in North America—hence the name Flower Moon. This year, Venus moves into Gemini on May 23, followed by Jupiter on May 25, adding supersonic magical powers to an already enchanted time.

We’re in Gemini’s earth season while the full moon is in Sagittarius, a fire sign. In many ways, the full moon occurring in the middle of Gemini season feels poetic and akin to a phoenix rising from the ashes. Expect this time to be filled with passionate and in-depth conversations and a romantic flair for life, luxury and beauty.

Be gentle with yourself, for the next few days 💜😘

Rainbows on peonies...what have your 'rainbows on peonies' been today?

Focusing on what you do have, what is going well, your strength of heart, the ways in which you allow yourself to express and receive love; these are your petals and your gratitude, the light of your awareness, is your rainbow.

There will always be more that you don't have, always be more that you could do and could be. This can be a playground of possibilities, but is most often a drain of vital life force, self esteem and self love.

Focus on your rainbows on peonies. That's where you exist. Elsewhere...the 'shoulds', 'coulds' and illusions of lack are only any use to advertisers trying to sell us something!

Rainbows on peonies ladies, that's where it's at. 🙏

If you imagine that your days are divided into activities or 'moments' you will see there is the opportunity to pause at each transition, to take a deep breath, recenter in your own energy and offer gratitude before moving on to the next activity or moments. After the breakfast is made, after you are dressed, once everyone is in the car...even when those around you clamour for your attention. Even when you have tasks stacked up in your mind and you are multitasking. Even then, find the pause and allow the peace to accumulate over the course of your busy days. It takes a second and is so valuable.🧘‍♀️
