Empowering children with motor disorders, such as Cerebral Palsy, Dyspraxia & complex medical needs through holistic learning. Conductive Education is all about potential and the person as a whole. It's a holistic learning approach that combines psychology, education and physical tasks to facilitate learning. It was initially designed for children who have motor disorders of neurological origin such as cerebral palsy but has since expanded to support a wide range of children, including those with Dyspraxia and Down Syndrome.

Motor planning
Hand eye coordination
Colour sorting
Standing balance

I'm a qualified Conductor with over a decade of experience, and I've worked not just across in Charities and Schools across the UK but also in France and New Zealand. Before setting up Conductive Education with Rachel Short in April 2025. I've supported children and Adults across a wide spectrum, including those with;

Some lovely parent feedback! 💚

We have had such a wonderful experience with Conductive Education with Rachel Short!

Our son has been working with Rachel since Summer 2025, both in 1:1 sessions and in small group settings, and the progress he has made in such a short time has been incredible.

We have seen his confidence grow so much, and it has been amazing to watch his personality really begin to shine. There have been huge improvements across the board, particularly in his focus, joint interaction, and fine motor skills.

Rachel creates a supportive, engaging environment and truly understands how to bring out the best in each child. We are so grateful for the impact she has had on our son’s development and would highly recommend her services!
