Why is it important to get you and your horse assessed?

I have a unique interest in treating both horses and their riders. This dual approach allows me to see the interconnection between the two and how they influence each other’s biomechanics.

Understanding this relationship enables me to provide targeted treatments that improve performance and well-being for both horse and rider.

Why get your dog treated by an Osteopath? 🐶

Osteopathic treatment can help to prevent future or current injuries, maintain optimal health and also treat conditions such as general aches and pains, arthritis, back and neck pain and congenital conditions.

Osteopathy can also help/aid recovery without the need for medication and sometimes other medical interventions.

We work closely with the dog’s owner to understand their behaviour, lifestyle, and specific health concerns. Our treatment plans are always customised to your dog’s specific needs, ensuring they receive the best possible care.

Why get your horse osteopathic treatment? 🐴

Horses are prone to musculoskeletal issues due to the physical demands placed on their bodies. Whether your horse is a competition horse or a leisure companion, osteopathy can help address a wide range of conditions that may be affecting their movement, performance, and overall comfort. This includes identifying areas of tension, stiffness, misalignment and previous injury in the body.

Horses are often susceptible to back pain, joint issues, muscle strains, and gait irregularities, which can impact their performance and quality of life.

Other contributing factors include poor rider biomechanics and their social/physical environment.

A typical treatment includes a thorough case history and examination to understand the unique physical needs of your horse, followed by a targeted treatment to enhance their overall performance and well-being.

If you would like some more information or want to book, please send a DM, WhatsApp message or call on 07864 718212.

Hi I’m Tabitha, a qualified human, canine and equine osteopath.

I completed a masters degree in Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO).

My love for animals led me to combine my osteopathic skills with animal care. So I pursued an Animal Osteopathy course with Stuart McGregor at the Osteopathic Centre for Animals (OCA). This training enables me to work with a variety of animals, including horses and dogs.

I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and carry full insurance with the Institute of Osteopathy.
