A few of the books that I've read so far this year, from personal development, health and spirituality:

1. Dopamine Nation dives into how modern society’s obsession with pleasure and avoidance of pain is reshaping our brains and habits, focusing on addiction, reward, and balance.

2. The Alchemist is a beloved philosophical tale about pursuing one’s personal legend, filled with profound wisdom about listening to your heart and the journey of self-discovery.

3. The Prophet offers poetic insights into life’s big questions—love, work, joy, sorrow—through a series of philosophical reflections. It’s a timeless spiritual classic.

4. It Didn’t Start with You explores how inherited family trauma affects our lives and how understanding our ancestors’ emotional legacies can lead to healing and change.

5. Glucose Revolution (one of my favourites) focuses on how managing blood sugar levels can improve energy, weight, and health—without restrictive diets—offering practical tips for everyday life.
