🐍 We are Still in Year of the Snake 🐍
Transforming, releasing, realising what's no longer True 🐍
Happy New Number ~2026~ facebook fam!
As many of us have now remembered, this isnt really a 'new year' because we are still in the depths of Winter (here) & the new~ness will not begin to emerge until Winter eases into Spring.
It's so counter-intuitive to be having so much external socialising, celebrating, 'intention-setting' etc when the world around us is so still & bare on the surface & has turned inwards to deeply rest & renew.
But the Number did change ~ we have gone from a 9 year to a 10 year; from the energy of Completion into New Beginnings & collaborations with the Divine/Source/All That Is/ & all the other names for the Creator of which we are each a fractal.
And this is significant even if 'only Gregorian'. The numbers hold a potency & we are affected by them or, better still, subconsciously aligned With them, whether we know it or not.
However, cycling back to my original point ~ we, here in the Northern Hemisphere, are still very much in Winter time. And, equally importantly, we are still in
🐍🐍The Year of the SNAKE 🐍🐍
There has been so much 'Year of the Horse' excitement & so many promises made of what this will mean for us individually & as a collective. And yet, we are Not there yet.
It reminds me of all of the hurrying to get to the good part, to bypass the depths in order to be in the light.
We are Still in Snake & this is significant.
It means we still have time to release old identities, old habits, old beliefs & ways of being. And, most potently, old ways of Doing.
We have until February 17th ~that's 5.5 weeks away~to keep our focus on gently teasing away those old dead skins 🐍, those ones which we are so so ready to let go of & perhaps just needed permission to do so or needed the energies of this time to facilitate the shedding.
Either way, what a gift! To be able to shake them off & place them in the fires of transformation, saying thank you for the protection they brought & returning them to stardust.
And then, it's not essential that we instantly put on a bright new & shiny skin & push ourselves into revealing who we are.
There is great power in the the in-between, in the silent stillness of 'what was' re~forming into 'what will Be'.
So instead of rushing into the New (such a culturally rewarded behaviour) ~how would it be to soothe your newly-bared skin with beautiful Light, with silken golden liquid love & trust that the new skin will form when it has prepared itself from the inside-out & you/we can be curious how this will feel & look ...when it is ready. We we are ready.
Meanwhile Winter.
Snow & Rain.
Snake-skin shedding.
Gentleness & slowly moving.
Deeply breathing.
Fresh-skin soothing
Silent inner listening
Trusting the unfurling
Allowing the becoming
Doing less from the Doing
And more from the Being
