We, at Kents Pharmacy are offering free NHS blood pressure checks to people aged 40 & over with no appointment necessary.

Why get your blood pressure checked?
* High BP, also called hypertension, is a condition which can be controlled to reduce your risk of a heart attack, stroke or other cardiovascular disease.
* In the UK there are about five million adults (one in every nine) who have high BP without even knowing it, since high BP itself rarely causes any symptoms.
* The British Heart Foundation estimates that high BP causes over 50% of heart attacks & strokes.

All it involves is around 10-15 minutes of your time in Kents Pharmacy consultation room with a member of our pharmacy team who are fully trained to takes measurements of your BP. Depending on your results, if necessary, they will guide you through the necessary steps and/or refer you to your GP.
