LIFT - an introduction to strength training

Welcome to your summer strength classes, suitable for beginners to resistance training and those wanting to supplant their training with full body dumbbell workouts.

Feeling concerned about your strength & mobility?
Have specific fitness goals this summer and want to build strength and improve cardio fitness without the impact?
Not keen on the gym, but need that guidance when exercising so you know you are moving with correct form?
Enjoy a little motivational nudge?
Like a class with music, community and positive energy?

These classes are for you.

LIFT - an introduction to strength training is for complete beginners and newbies to strength training or those of you that would like a guided, full body strength workout.

Using dumbbells, resistance bands and body weight, we mobilise the body, learn exercises and compound lifts to work the whole body and gradually progressively overload to build strength and lean muscle.

I am passionate about empowering people to move, feel strong and capable in both body and mind.
This is about playing the long game- lifting so we can climb hills in our 80s and get in and out of bed and up and down stairs in our 90s.

Community offerings

Summer is all about sunshine and longer days.
More time for joy filled moments and fun filled memory making.
And a little more opportunity for you to prioritise, well, you!

I feel inspired to move my body more often at this time of year.
Energised to get outdoors first thing, let the light in my eyes, be in nature, enjoy the sun’s rays. Nurture my body and mind, lift my mood.

My community offerings are all about providing opportunities for you to be able to do the same. Little moments for you to move, build strength, boost energy and mood, balance your nervous system.
So that you feel good.
So that you feel you have given yourself time and attention.
Filled your cup a little so that you can enjoy filling the cups or those you love.
And enjoy these long summer days even more 💛

Join me for a morning of my favourite offerings, an energising Hatha yoga practice followed by a gorgeous walk through the Norfolk countryside. Where we may pause to meditate, ground and enjoy rejuvenating breathwork.

June’s event begins from the beautiful & historical Letheringsett Watermill up in the studio on the top floor.

Come prepared to walk all weathers, so waterproofs, SPF, hats and walking boots recommended. Wear clothes you can yoga in and bring some water.

Hot and cold refreshments, fruit and cake will be available for a little post walk, energising snack xx
