Andrew is still training for the rescheduled half marathon. Who have upped their training and hoping to get a sub 2 hours on this one. So let's see how that turns out. It was frustrating with the half marathon being delayed. However that could'nt be helped. I do feel fitter as I have had more time to train. It also has not been easu managing burn out and getting unwell. However I battled on and with only a few weeks left to train and then rest it's all systems go!!

Our su***de prevention prevention awareness poster competition is being drawn at our new drop in on Saturday the 20th of September.

So donations are greatly appreciated to help get the new designs out and circulated with in the Sussex commnunity to carry the message that people are not alone and to open up and talk about what's on their mind!

We are all volunteers that run the project and we have limited resources so this is what we can offer at this stage. We hope to build on this and provide more frequent drop ins. However this depends on the support we get from the community.

Volunteers are always welcome to join us and free training is provided.

We are keen to host local workshops from people within the community and we can pay for an hour or more, so please come forward with suggestions and we will consider all reasonable applicants!

All our funding is generated through are events we have no outside funding and never have so we do appreciate all the support we can get. That in turn helps us to provide better services for you the community!

It is not essential but to keep this project moving forward we will be open to taking voluntary donations / contributions to help with running costs. Rent / Restocking drinks / snacks. You can do this with cash or card. We hope to build this new drop in up to be open more frequently. Especially coming up to winter. (We also accept but not limited to; Coffee, Tea, Herbal tea etc.

We made a total of profit after expenses of £355

A big thanks to everyone involved.
From the volunteers, leaflet/ poster distribution. To the event host and of course the DJS for bring the bass and the vibe.

Great new sound system that sounds amazing. Also new lighting. #

We've replenished our investment for the event ready for the next one!☝🏼

Anyone interested in seeing the breakdown of profit and expenses feel free to message me.

This profit will be used to help fund our su***de prevention awareness campaign to heMental Health Help Sussex Blackbox Hastingsiming to launch later this year.

We will probably get taxed on that but it's still a nice amount.
