Senior Carer & Care Assistant
Location: Alexander House/East Witterings

Alexander House is currently seeking a Senior Carer and Care Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated care team.
Requirements:
Relevant experience in a care setting
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential for Senior Carer role or willingness to start Level 3)
Experience with medication administration
Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience working in care
Caring, reliable, and professional approach
Hours: Full-time & Part-time (Flexibility required, occasional night shifts, plus every other weekend)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Christmas spirit continued at Alexander House during the final week before Christmas 🎄
Residents enjoyed a variety of festive activities, including painting wooden nutcrackers, baking cookies, wrapping presents, and taking part in fun challenges and games alongside our staff.
Most special of all were the moments spent chatting and laughing together, creating a joyful atmosphere 🎄🤶

Dear Friends and Families,
As part of our upcoming Residents’ Christmas Party on 16/12/2025, we are delighted to launch our Alexander House Christmas Raffle!
This is a wonderful opportunity to add extra joy to our celebrations while helping us create a magical festive experience for our residents ❤️
We have some fantastic prizes lined up, including gift hampers, vouchers, festive treats, and special surprises generously donated by our local shops and friends of our home.
The raffle draw will take place during our Christmas Party on 16/12/2025 at 11:00.
If you would like to take part, we kindly ask that you bring some change with you on the day to purchase raffle tickets. Your participation and support will truly make a difference and help us create a joyful and memorable Christmas for everyone at Alexander House.

🌴🇧🇷 Our residents were transported to Brazil today with a vibrant Brazilian-themed lunchtime! 🇧🇷🌴

They enjoyed a delicious spread of slow-cooked pork, black beans, and all the festive flavors — surrounded by colorful decor that brought the spirit of Brazil to life. Great food, great company! 💃🍴🎉

👵👶 Intergenerational Joy in Action! 🌼💫

Today was extra special at Alexander House as we welcomed some very tiny, very cheerful visitors 🧸

Our residents shared crafts and played games and also plenty of smiles with the wonderful nursery children. It was heartwarming to see the generations come together—learning, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company. 💛

Moments like these remind us just how powerful connection can be, no matter your age. 🫶

We’re already looking forward to the next one! 🌟
