We’re excited to share that Cherry Lane Therapeutic Homes 🍒 recently worked in partnership with Connective Strength to deliver the NVR Foundation Course, led by the incredible Dr. Peter Jakob and Kerry. 💚

The training brought together our team members and external professionals to explore Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) — an empowering approach that helps strengthen relationships, reduce conflict, and support positive change for young people in care.

It was an inspiring few days filled with open discussions, new perspectives, and practical strategies that our teams are already putting into practice. 🌱

A huge thank you to everyone who took part — your engagement, reflections, and willingness to learn made the course such a success!

We’re thrilled to announce that Cherry Lane will be hosting more NVR courses in the future, continuing our commitment to professional growth and therapeutic excellence.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that our brand-new home, Pearl House, has officially been registered today!

After months of dedication, planning, and sheer hard work from our incredible team, we are thrilled to share that Pearl House will be opening its doors on 6th October.

This achievement is a true testament to the passion, commitment, and teamwork that has gone into making Pearl House a reality. Our staff cannot wait to welcome young people into a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where they can truly thrive.

🍒 Cherry Lane Therapeutic Homes & Services – September Update 🍒

We’re excited to share some fantastic news with you all!

This week we had our Ofsted registration visit, and it went brilliantly. Only a couple of very small amendments were needed, which were completed on the day. The inspector was really positive, and her recommendations are now being put forward. Once that’s done, the process moves into a short quality assurance stage, which means… we’re very close to the finish line! 🎉

Alongside this milestone, it’s been a really special week at Cherry Lane:

🍒 We’ve had powerful group processing sessions with our staff, building reflection, connection, and growth.
🍒 Tomorrow, we’ll be taking our young person out for a birthday meal, a chance to celebrate and make special memories together.
🍒 Our brand new team is now in place and ready for Pearl House, and we’re so excited to see them step into their roles once the home officially opens. You can read more about Pearl House here: www.cherrylanehomes.org/our-homes/pearl-house

It’s been an amazing journey so far — and this month has brought us one step closer to opening our doors, offering safe and therapeutic homes, and continuing to build our vision for Cherry Lane.
