🍒 Cherry Lane Therapeutic Homes & Services – September Update 🍒

We’re excited to share some fantastic news with you all!

This week we had our Ofsted registration visit, and it went brilliantly. Only a couple of very small amendments were needed, which were completed on the day. The inspector was really positive, and her recommendations are now being put forward. Once that’s done, the process moves into a short quality assurance stage, which means… we’re very close to the finish line! 🎉

Alongside this milestone, it’s been a really special week at Cherry Lane:

🍒 We’ve had powerful group processing sessions with our staff, building reflection, connection, and growth.
🍒 Tomorrow, we’ll be taking our young person out for a birthday meal, a chance to celebrate and make special memories together.
🍒 Our brand new team is now in place and ready for Pearl House, and we’re so excited to see them step into their roles once the home officially opens. You can read more about Pearl House here: www.cherrylanehomes.org/our-homes/pearl-house

It’s been an amazing journey so far — and this month has brought us one step closer to opening our doors, offering safe and therapeutic homes, and continuing to build our vision for Cherry Lane.

🍒 Cherry Lane Homes – August Update 🍒
As August draws to a close, we’re reflecting on what has been an incredibly exciting and productive month for Cherry Lane Homes.

🍒 Pearl House Progress
Our newest home, Pearl House, is coming to life! The team has been working hard behind the scenes, and we’re delighted to share that the home will officially be opening its doors next month. This marks another big step forward in our journey to create safe, nurturing, and therapeutic spaces for young people.

🍒 Welcoming New Team Members
We’re thrilled to have onboarded several new employees who bring with them a wealth of skills, passion, and dedication. Their energy has already been felt across the homes, and we’re excited to see how they continue to grow within the Cherry Lane family.

🍒 Supporting Our Young People
This month, we had the privilege of taking one of our young people to visit family—a special and important moment. They are also preparing to return to school after the summer, and we are proud to be walking alongside them as they take these next steps with confidence.

🍒 Staff Group Processing
Our staff team has continued to benefit from group processing sessions, which have been both meaningful and uplifting. These opportunities to come together, reflect, and grow as a team are at the heart of what makes Cherry Lane such a supportive and therapeutic organisation.

🍒 Vision Evening Success
A highlight of the month was our Vision Evening, where Kerry and Dean shared the evolving vision of Cherry Lane Homes with both new and existing staff. The evening was a chance to connect, celebrate our progress, and look ahead to the future with clarity and purpose. Of course, no Cherry Lane gathering would be complete without some laughter and good food—we ended the evening with a meal together, reinforcing our sense of unity as a team.

🍒 Looking Ahead
With Pearl House opening next month and our team continuing to grow stronger, the future looks incredibly bright. Thank you to everyone—staff, young people, and supporters—who make Cherry Lane Homes the special place it is.
